Update:
Every day, I stare at the slop I created and regret how I desecrated this release, it's so bad that I cannot forgive myself. If I had waited for five months, it wouldn't have turned out like this. Allow me to redeem myself:

Patch v0.2:

- The translations have been redone, now utilizing Translation Engine Generation V with the latest checkpoint. This is no longer "Opus 4.7." The quality improvements are incomparable.
- All GUI and menu graphics are translated.
- All TIP entries are translated.
- All scene jumps and character entries are translated.
- Both DVD and DL Version Patch Works
- Also included Patch v1.02, it will overwrite v1.02, but it will be just the official v1.02

There is no excuse for what I did, but atleast, I can feel more at ease with this patch v0.2

How do you survive in the wild cyberspace is beyond me, thanks the mod.

Thanks for the translation!

I extracted the patch into the game root directory but now the game won't start at all. I tested without the patch file (update2.ypf) and then it runs normally again. Also reinstalled the game and tried on both ver1.0 and 1.01 but still the same result.

Any idea or help would be appreciated!

Hey, make sure the patch file is inside the pac folder, and if your system locale isn't Japanese, try via Locale Emulator.

Was there any error?

Thanks for getting back!

Yep, like you said, the patch file was already in the pac folder and the pc's system locale is Japanese. The game runs normally without the patch but once the patch file is there, the game does not start up. Specifically, it doesn't respond at all and there are no error message. I don't see the game running on the background either when checking task manager.

Hello, this is rather tricky.

What OS do you have? I'm looking to reproduce this but I test it on both Windows 10 / Windows 11 Japanese locale, both launch fine.

For the main game, where did you download it?

sorry about that, there was no isuue

ryugames, but it has propaganda

h suki is less agressive, but it does not have the game yet

one more thing of h suki site, certain games are blocked and you need membership to unlock that content, but its guaranteed

Appreciate you taking time to look into this!

Windows 10 Japanese Locale. I got the main game from here (girlcelly) via nyaa.

Again, I uninstalled, did a fresh reinstall, and booted the game successfully without patch first.

Once I applied the patch (extracted in game directory / made sure file was in pac folder), I observed that the game doesn't boot up at all whenever the update2.ypf file is present. When I remove update2.ypf file, game boots and runs normally.

ok, I just realize girlcelly upload two version, this patch was made for this specific version [260529] [Whirlpool] Relirium -レリリウム- 遺跡と出逢いと冒険と 通常版

Possibly DL Version, I'm pulling the DVD version to check it out, do you know which version you downloaded?

That solved it! Didn't realize there were different versions. I got the DL version and is working now. I was on the DVD version previously. Will make sure to double check versions for the future. 😅

Thanks for all the help!

Could you help me with a translation?

When I press the Space key, the text is only displayed up to the point before the space is entered, and all text after that is deleted.

How can I resolve this issue?

I added the text "책망하는 듯한 한탄하는 듯한." to the '0_all_0001.txt' file, as shown in the screenshot.

However, in-game, only "책망하는" is displayed, and the rest of the text does not appear.

For the reasons mentioned above, the Korean patch uses full-width spaces ( ) instead of regular spaces.

However, this greatly hurts readability.

I noticed that your patch correctly renders half-width spaces ( ).

How did you implement support for half-width spaces?

Relirium use engine YURIS, I think this is version 500, you need the decrypt key (xxh32) which is "0x12EBC213" when you dump the binary and inspect the process. This allow you to extract the ysbin config that allow you to modify the engine settings for font and stuff.

This is crucial because the game engine will only accept full-width space. If I remember correctly that is.

Could you provide a tool that can extract ysbin?

I've looked at several tools, but most of them only extract text, and I couldn't find any that preserve or extract font-related settings.

Ask chatgpt to help you with this, it shouldn't be too hard. This can also be used to repack
