Let's talk about our most anticipated otome games 🍰💕✨

there are so many interesting games to be excited for!! my list currently is:

kimi ni madoi, kimi ni oboreru.: it made a lot of noise on twitter due to non-otome fans misbehaving, but im so interested in it!! the artstyle is dreamy, mc is cute as hell, lis are all very attractive, and the premise is intriguing!! cant wait:D
key la box: 18+ otome?? sign me the heck up!!!!! i heard it was in a development hell of sorts, but im very happy its being developed again:)
shinrei shinjuu: admittedly i dont know much about it, but the main artist designed several vtubers i like, so i cant help but wait for the game to arrive:D
sullyland nursery rhyme: this is a horror otome, right? sounds suuuper interesting!! really need some more spooky otome in my life ww (i read ogamika no himegoto a week ago and still cant get over it)
sins of kaleido: IT HAS A CROSSDRESSING(?) LI!!!!! AND HE HAS A BEAUTY MARK!!!!!! AND HETEROCHROMIA!!!!!!!! AND HES VOICED BY MIDORIKAWA HIKARU!!!!!!!!!!! AND THERES ANOTHER LI VOICED BY STTK!!!!!!!!! im afraid this game is being made specifically for me.......... genuinely cant wait..............!!!!!

and three questionable ones:

dorico no toshokan: i know it had its controversies with ai art, but!!!! as long as they stay in pvs only, i think its okay to wait for it.. im just happy rejet is making new games;;;; i really hope they take criticism seriously...!!
crazy cha!n: im a little on the fence with this one, because some of the staff's commentary, virche's writer and mc's design make me side eye the game a little bit (especially considering whats happening on the otome fandom side currently), but lis are soooo good! especially god!!!! such a patootie lol
le mirage mystique: again, kinda on the fence due to licobits being under broccoli, but it looks pretty unusual.... and the main artist is very cool too!!!!;;

so i guess its safe to say im excited about literally every upcoming project without much exceptions... hahaha im sorry, i hope this is allowed;;;;

Otomate calls Sullyland's genre "Lunatic Suspense x Dark Fantasy". So who knows how much horror there will actually be in there since they aren't directly advertising it as horror

true true! it still looks kinda suspense-ish so im still pretty excited for it^^ as long as they dont repeat virche mistakes of course because theres an npc whos suspiciously excited about one of the lis

R u talking abt the Uchida Yuuma character? Im eyeing him too, but I wouldn't have any hopes on him cuz there has been too many times where Otomate scammed people with secret LI looking side characters like in Radiant tale or Moeyo Otome Doushi.

Btw, What type of staff commentary about crazy chain did u see that makes u on the fence?

ive seen some staff claiming that crazy chain is a game even men can enjoy! which makes me a little ?, because why would that be a selling point in a genre aimed at women? also, with their announcement of release date postponed, some people were rightfully suspicious about the writer doing her stuff again, which prompted crazy chain staff to put out a statement that crazy chain features gxb romance. which is just so silly because, yeah no wonder? this is the entire point of the genre? ww what people are worried about is bl inclusion, not gxb romance. so im just slowly losing hope with each passing day.. lolol

Are there any side characters in crazy chain that look like they could have a crush on the LIs? At least that scenario writer when she did Cafe Enchante, she didn't rly write anything to a similar degree, and hopefully the Director of Virche and Crazy Chain also learned since iirc, Virche got a lot of backlash for having a side character that kinda has a crush on an LI.

yes, same writer:) and same artist which is a curious combo lolol, but calling it a mess is a little early!! theyre just a bit questionable at the moment, so hold onto your wallet for the time being

virche and crazy chain have the same writer, so its always good to be a little wary^^;; with the grmn shitstorm and the animate stuff (when they released a trailer for an "otome" game with bl elements on april fools), i can totally see them getting bolder lol

Anticipated titles: story & character & mc & OKAMOTO - sins of KALEIDO, character & visual - Sullyland Nursery Rhyme, character & visual & music & OKAMOTO - Hakuoki Ibun: Berezinskii no Majo, character & visual & OKAMOTO - Le Mirage Mystique.

Meanwhile sins of KALEIDO has one of my favorite Opening songs so far.

Conclusion: I anticipate Nobuhiko Okamoto.

Shinrei Shinjuu hasn't got updates yet, but I like the worldview, the producer and the illustrator.

Meanwhile Silent Whispers with Unreal Engine 5 and open-world concept appeals to me as well, hope this cooks.

I don't have a Switch or PSP, so I don't really keep up with new otome game updates that much. But recently there's this game called "Lovers Enigma" that really caught my attention. The concept is honestly pretty wild — your husband, who's also one of the love interests, suddenly dies from suicide, and the protagonist starts trying to figure out the truth behind his mysterious death. It also has horror cult and mystery elements, which makes me even more curious about the story.

Since it's an indie otome game, I'm actually pretty excited to try it. From the previews, the whole concept already feels really unique and kinda out of the box. I'm also happy the game is finally leaving beta title and officially release on May 20.

Haha, glad someone actually knows this game . Games like this usually end up stay as demos forever and never get fully finished, or the devs suddenly disappear and the game never gets updated again.

unfortunately thats true.. i heard the exact thing happened with bunny bond (an english indie otome) after the dev got criticized for adding bl fantasies.. i hope salty hounds get updated soon at least......;;

Same... I had another indie game I was really interested in too, but i just found out the game suddenly stopped in the middle of development and the dev moved on to another game instead. Then later they got accused of using AI for the art, and after that they ended up going on a really long hiatus for almost a year. At this point I just hope the dev is doing okay.
