My first otome game was Atelier Elkrone: Dear for Otomate, on PSP.
Back then, I didn't know it was an otome game. I just saw that it was part of the Atelier series, which I had been wanting to play. But at the time, I didn't have a PS3 (I really wanted to play The Alchemist of Arland series), so I ended up downloading this game because the visuals looked similar.
As I kept playing, it turned out to be way more fun than I expected. I already liked the magical school setting, so it really drew me in. It was actually my first time experiencing an otome game properly (though not my first visual novel).

, the protagonists were step siblings (it was pretty bad written, but there I was, at 11 playing that thing
. Then, I played My Elemental Prince, by Genius inc, and oh god, I still have a place in my heart for that game
