When you play otome games, do you leave Love Catch on or off?

Even tho i use Walkthrough while playing, but i like effects of Love catch

I am playing with Love Catch because i like how it's done. Different games have different animations for it. It looks cute

I always leave it on. I don't play using walkthroughs, except for when I'm stuck, so having it on allows me to know I'm on the right track. Most of the time I can tell which choice is the right one but I've had times where I was wrong so having it on also saves time.

I keep it on to track if i've made the right decision and is really progressing through the good ending lmao

I like to leave it on to see the animations and sound effects! It's also quite useful when I'm going for all endings (I like to do bad endings first) since I won't need to check the answers on a guide. I do treat most otome like a CYOA romance book, so it doesn't affect my enjoyment or immersion

Leave it on, mostly because I always forget there's an option to turn it off
Same.

For the most part I don't care if it's there or not there. It's nice sometimes because without it I never know if I'm making the right choices, but I also like playing through games blind, getting whatever end for the LI route (usually a bad end lol), and then going back with a guide to get the rest of the endings. I don't save scum or rollback to make the right choice, so even if the love catch doesn't pop up, meaning I made the wrong choice, it doesn't change things too much.

for first until third playthroughs, I would leave it off to see my "fate" or if my flirting and judgement based on the love interests are still good and if I'm targeting specific characters to fill their gallery, then I'll turn it on.

on, never thought to leave it off. Most games I play don't have that setting, so I don't think about it unless I see other players mention it.

I'd turn it off in the first playthrough, but will turn it back on in later playthrough to get all the endings!

I keep love catch on, mostly because that's usually the default option. Yes, sometimes (if I'm not using a walkthrough) it does give me the urge to reload if I pick the "wrong" choice, but I resist and continue. Plus, I would prefer to know the effect of each choice and how it's considered or viewed in the story because that helps to understand it better based on which choices raise affinity, whether a choice is considered "good" or "bad" (or any other variable), etc, because then I get a better idea on the stance/angle of the narrative and what it's trying to convey. It's also helpful in terms of accessibility if I'm trying to get a specific ending without using a guide.

I leave love catch on since i'm already using guides anyways. even when i go in blind for a playthrough i still leave it on to see the little animation it has

I'm going to raise my hand here and ask what a Love Catch is.. :')
