I'm not trying to keep you out, but that's how passwords work, right?I love and respect the Korean friends on the Kone site but sometimes i really can't understand the choices they make. Why do they sometimes make things so unnecessarily difficult? For example, they usually use the standard password mmdmiku and somisoft, but sometimes they don't use it. And sometimes, even by translating the text or reading it with AI, it's impossible to figure out the password, like in the recent incident. In that case, the password they set was mmdmiku1225, but they never mentioned the last four digits anywhere they only stated that there were four digits.
Don't overthink it. When using a non-standard password, we just want to share it only among Koreans. Same reason why Japanese authors put stupidly complex passwords which make you search up some random person's birthday multiplied by the number of times they've eaten a hot dog on wednesday. They just don't like foreigners. You'll find this everywhere in China, Korea and Japan. It's not just a Korean thing.I love and respect the Korean friends on the Kone site but sometimes i really can't understand the choices they make. On the flip side you'll never see a western fan do this so it's not all doom and gloom.

We used to have a time when nobody bothered with passwords. It was such a pain in the ass, but then some users kept leaking site info over and over, sites got wrecked and disappeared. Through all that chaos, we naturally started taking security seriously and began forcing passwords on everyone.Same reason why Japanese authors put stupidly complex passwords which make you search up some random person's birthday multiplied by the number of times they've eaten a hot dog on wednesday. Why do you think they're sharing things in their own country? Because the pig gaijin might touch their secret stuff?Don't you ever try to understand who you're sharing things with?
If you're sharing everything publicly, you probably don't need a password.
But isn't it wrong to criticize people overseas for not being able to crack the password on something shared only within your own country?
