As of February 2016 the Vita hasn't been (fully) hacked yet, Vita games can't be pirated as of now and there is no working emulator for the Vita either.


In this regard: How did people who make such requests actually plan on playing those game? Assuming they own the handheld, it's obviously not able to play ISOs so what's the point?

Minna-san, I want to request if you want to sold your used otome games for ps vita please contact me. Or for example exchange with me for another game. :nyanmusu_bow:
 
It's currently possible to dump most vita games. I don't have a vita, but I'd be interested in any otome game dumps.
 
I have some Otome games which I could dump. Angelique Retour and Kiniro no Corda CHN have been dumped successfully by Vitamin 2.0, which I will post later.
Bara ni Kakusareshi Verite failed to load, so maybe the modules needs to be fixed.
 
Norn9 also has been dumped (VPK) and can be used on a psvita 3.60 ver.

Do you have to hack your Vita to dump games? I have a few games I wouldn't mind sharing but I have no intention of hacking my Vita nor can I afford buying a new/bigger memory card.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you have to hack your psvita to play and dump games. You would have to install a homebrew called "HENKAKU" and then install "Vitamin" to dump games and your vita has to be on firmware 3.60.

Yeah, I know about the hack and it does sound simple enough but if I'm not mistaken it also means I can never sync my trophies again, right? Too bad. :( Maybe someday it'll be possible to just connect the Vita to a computer and dump the games this way.

Trophies are still available and you can still go online, however I would rather not sync them with illegal copies of games; possibility of a banned.

There are 9 games there so far, iirc. I'm not technically new to this site (though this account is) but I'm not sure about the policies for posting games. If you tell me what the rules are (I've already read http://www.anime-sharing.com/forum/...-4/general-download-rules-restrictions-12859/) or point me their way I'll see if I can upload what I have here too.

It is, I want to make sure I don't accidentally break any rule. I posted one as a test, if that format is okay I'll look into uploading the rest.

You should be fine, as long as you follow rules and similar formatting like here or here. And thanks for uploading your games here.
 
Got it. Well, they aren't really my games; I just compiled the links I found. And actually, if someone else wants to upload some of them I don't mind -- or, to be more precise, I'd be grateful. I have exams coming up and keeping up with the reddit list is already taking more time than expected... But at the same time, I know how hard it is to find otome games, and Reddit is not exactly the first place one would think of.

I will upload them, though. Just... slowly.

Edit: Because of some things that happened, I'd appreciate it if you didn't repost here the games on the list or the comments (unless you're the original dumper of course, it's your dump) till it's been at least two days since they've been posted on a comment or a day since they've been posted to the list. This is to stop the spread of non-working dumps. Thank you.

I edited this post, which may be relevant since currently many of the PS Vita otome games here come from that list. Basically, I'd appreciate it if you'd wait at least two days since a comment with a link is added (unless you are the dumper of course) or at least one day since the game is added to the list till reuploading it here, to stop the spread of non-working dumps. That also gives me time to post them myself -- which means that if we find problems with the dump in the Reddit list, I can immediately change links, delete threads or add warnings here. Thank you for your understanding.

Hi Minanime8! Sorry to be responding to a post from a couple months ago, but just wondering if you ever figured out a way to successfully dump Bara ni Kakusareshi Verite? I'm a huge fan of the Hanayaka series and have been looking for Bara ni... for awhile, but can't seem to find mention of it anywhere else.

It seems that Otomate games have been a little trickier to dump, but there is now a method that seems to be working, according to the comments on Cerulean's reddit thread (thank you Cerulean!) here: https://www.reddit.com/r/VitaPiracy/comments/52wy6x/otome_game_dumps_list/ in case that's helpful at all.
