十三支演義 ~偃月三国伝~ 原画集

Juuzaengi -Engetsu Sangokuden- artbook

I've been searching for it for quite a while, but it seems to be sold out everywhere. :-(
Does anyone have a scanned version to share?

Hmm? Wasn't there already someone asked for the artbook? I remembered that Freani shared a number of artbooks, including Wands of Fortune, Juuza Engi, etc.
Please check the thread, it's inside this request subforum. Hopefully the links still work.

Yeah you're right! I actually didn't see that before ^^ Thanks meine_YUUKI!
Suzusan, here's the direct link in case you can't find it:

Oh, yes, I knew that someone already requested it, but unfortunately it's not the same book: the ones who were shared where the guide book and the master book, who have just some sprites and a couple of illustrations, mostly from the game's packages etc. They didn't have all the cgs or all the extra illustrations made by Teita. :-(

The one I'm searching for is this one: http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/de...itle=Juuza+Engi$pagemax=20$getcnt=0$pagecnt=1

I'm sorry if I caused troubles, I should have done a more detailed request! >_<

This book had been scanned, processed and uploaded. The place where the scan file was uploaded is the Otomedream forum. We could not download most stuff from this site or Group.

In the following page:
ht tp://www.otomedream.com/thread-641354-1-1.html

On 2012-09-20, famous, honourable ArielSharon posted the article and wrote:

i.e. FTP downloading, permanent archive, Self-ripping (self-scanning), Disconstructed scanning, 十三支演義 ~偃月三国伝~ 原画集 ( with Stella bonus image, and the Spread images )

>>请勿转载
>>
>>扫是很早扫完了,不过跨页太多,拼了有一个星期【。

These lines mean perhaps:
> Do not re-distribute
> Scanning has been fastly finished, but there were many Spread pages, thus One week hard work was required to process (I worked hard for one week)

>>原画集的好处就是CG无印ww
>>新图连封面一共2张,封面那张是曹关,内页是云妹单人
>>这本画廊都是些杂志图,人设部分图还挺大,游戏CG平均每人2张跨页CG,渊弟特别路线结局和游戏全通CG也给了跨页,线稿什么的也都收了

I cannot see these three lines (I cannot read Chinese).
The first line is maybe: Original artbook is good, because the CGs are without ...?.. marking, letters, other things?
The 2nd and 3rd lines are unknown for me. But maybe, she says at least one thing: "There are Spread images for each character."

>>十三支演義 ~偃月三国伝~ 原画集(Stella特典付,跨页拼接有)
>>一共239P
>>本体210P+Stella特典相卡1P+跨页拼接28P
>>分辨率4900*7000
>>解压后1.21GB

These lines are:
> 十三支演義 ~偃月三国伝~ 原画集(With Stella bonus image, and the Spreads images contained)
> 239 pages (images) in total
> Original pages: 210, Stella bonus image: 1, Spread images: 28 [thus, in total, 239 images]
> Resolutions of image: 4900 x 7000
> Size after decoding: 1.21GB

(Maybe, normal image: ca. 4.5MB, Spread image: ca. 10MB, then (4.5 x 210) + (10 x 28) = 945 + 280 = 1225MB = 1.225GB)
"Spread image" - when one image is printed on the right-side and left-side pages. The image is splitted.
Coupling these two page images in one, thus "One Spread image" is created.

I suppose there is possibility that we may get the RAR file, and get or figure out the password.
I have been searching and researching various pages. There is a bit hope to get scans. I think possibility.
(But the file size is very large. So possibly we cannot find and get RAR file.)

Hi, sorry for answering this late! >_<

Mildis: Thank you very much for sharing the info about Otomedream forum! I tried to understand how it works etc, it seems (using Google Translate XD) that, in order to obtain the permission to download the file, you need to be signed in and to pay some kind of virtual point to the user who posted the file. You can earn point by being active in the forum, which unfortunately is only chinese... In the end I couldn't even sign in in the forum, couldn't understand anything more. >//>"
Thanks anyway! ^_^

Kittysim: yeah, that's it! The pictures are indeed small, but well, it's still better than noyhing! Thank you very much!! ;-)

Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything better than this.
It is very hard to register in otomedream. They require you to write the reasons you want to create the account in Chinese, if you write something in English they will ignore you. I know that some lucky people found a Chinese friend to help them create an account. Even if you register you need to comment and write posts in order to gain zeny to unlock the links & the password for the artbook. They even check your comments to see if your comments are good enough (by their standards) to earn a zeny!
I know that some Chinese blogs have some artbooks from otomedream, but the problem is you can't find these blogs so easily… Anyway, sorry for the long post…

I actually have an account on otomedream. Yes, I managed to be a member there because I was searching for old R18 games and found them on otomedream (some of them then were uploaded by Ataraxia ^^). The old R18 games are usually not protected and they even wrote the password.
I learned mandarin before so I know a little bit of mandarin words. It's tricky and tiring, I even used Google translate to translate the words one by one.
If you want to register there, just write the reason why you join in one simple sentence, I used Google translate, and wrote the japanese words too.
However, since some of the items are protected and I couldn't see them, so I gave up =__= I never even leave a comment there since everything is so hectic (well, yes, since it all written in Mandarin.....).
So my advice, just write simple sentence in comment box (translate it into mandarin) so the words won't be so ridiculous. Same like you reply or say thanks to this forum.
It's been a long time since I visit otomedream, thanks to Ataraxia and Jezebel who shared a lot of games here ^^ So I don't know what's going on there.

Thank you for the information. I should thank Ataraxia for uploading her games. I'm so selfish, I only downloaded the games and liked her posts. I will send her a message to thank her (when I find the courage)! I remember that she had problems with her health and some rude people. I hope she is well now. She even has a Greek name (Αταραξία)!!! Don't mind me, I'm writing whatever stupid thing that crosses my mind!!!:P
Wow!! You know mandarin? I don't even know Japanese!! :donefor:

I believe that it is more strict now to register in otomedream. They even have a system that rejects you automatically if you write something in less than 30 words. I like the fact that you can find old games there. I'm checking the site occasionally because the users upload free doujin games. Anyway, sorry for bothering you!!
:bye:

Ataraxia is doing well now, but she is busy. She is a kind person, she never minds even though the members don't thank her by replying her posts one by one, as long as we are happy playing the games ^^

Anyway, I learned mandarin when I was in junior high, and I often watch taiwan/chinese drama, to keep reminding me of mandarin. BUT....don't ask me about the letter (pinyin) >__< I can sing mandarin song, but doesn't mean I can read a whole sentence.....

So when I found the R18 games I was looking for, I usually check whether it is the real game (or just review), does it have a password, did the uploader write the password. Some people who shared their games usually write that visitors have to ask for password via private message, or only those who have become friends with the blogger (with some friends point or something) will be given the password. This is what I found when I got into some chinese blogs. I found a lot of chinese blogs everytime I search an R18 games in japanese title (original title). No password given? I gave up =__= Whatever, I'll search somewhere else. How did I understand what the written mean? Google translate, what else? Hahahaha..... Copy paste only the important part and you'll understand the rest.
But then I found another trick. I could only download safely from Baidu, the only free-and-easy to download file host. So I usually typed the japanese title, followed by Baidu (in mandarin letter), then the search engine will give results of those websites which uploaded the games onto Baidu, and thankfully with the password.
I found a few old R18 games too from a torrent. Thank God! ^O^ I've been saved by joining this forum, all thanks to Ataraxia~~

Hoo? You don't understand japanese so how do you play then??

Ah btw, using Greek name doesn't mean Ataraxia is from Greece ^^;; I'm using Germany word plus Japanese name though. Hehehehe.....

I'm happy that she is better now, I sent her a message today, I don't know her personally but I can tell that she is kind and of course generous.

I like Asian languages but I can't learn anything! I went through hell to even learn English! Wow! You are good! You know a lot of things about mandarin. (I don't know how to rephrase it better but I think you can understand what I'm trying to say!)

Thank you very much for your tips. Thanks! :)

I usually download everything and almost never play anything!! I'm afraid to even start a game. I'm playing games with ITH or AGTH, hacked scripts or word per word translation!! I know some basic things, I can read hiragana, I know some basic kanji and I can understand some dialogues but of course is not enough. :(

Of course I know that Ataraxia is not from Greece, besides the word "ataraxia" is a word that it is rarely used in Greek language, even the Greeks don't know that this word exist. I was just kidding! Forgive me, my humor is bad and weird! I regret that I wrote something so stupid!! I feel so embarrassed! I'm so sorry!
:alonescared:

I didn't notice that you have a half-German name!! I only noticed the Japanese half!! I had German lessons in junior high, but now I don't remember anything!!
:sigh:

Sorry for writing the story of my life and bothering you with my stupid thoughts!! :goodluck:

Nice too hear that Ataraxia is well! I still keep contact to some members of the group but never asked anyone how she has done these past few months. Didn't want to look greedy or something.

And that baidu trick you're using... clever clever. But a lot of games and content are uploaded there with unclear file names... nakido has often materials like tokutens but the download system is so annoying there...

Firstly, "ataraxia" is not so rare word. For me, it is rather very popular and familiar word. It is a Classic Greek word. And the important term of the Classic Western philosophy (Clasic Greek philosophy).
It is the term of the philosopher Epikouros (Epicurus in Latin and English) and the philosopher Phyuurrhoon (Phyrrho in Latin and English). It means "tranquilitty" in English (there are various corresponding words).

ataraxia [Latin form] < ataraksia [Greek form] = a + taraks + -ia
a: anti, oppose, :: taraks- : from "tarakhee" or "tarakhos" [Root: TARAKS, ΤΑΡΑΞ ] , meaning trouble, disorder, confusion etc. :: -ia : suffix for abstarct noun

Thus, "atarksia" means "without troubles", "without confusions", etc. "tranquility of mind". This is the main term and concept in Epikouros' philosophy. Wikipedia article

This word does not appear in middle-size Greek dictionary, but it appears in Dictionary of Western pholosophy.

--------

Mandarin is 北京官話 (Peking Official language), that is, the contemporary Standard Chinese. There are many dialects in Chinese language. The pronunciations are pretty different among them. Sometimes difficult to communicate using their own dialextic Chinese. But the witten Chinese is basically Peking Offical language. To pronounce this language is very difficult. But many people write and use Mandarin (Standard Chinese) to communicate each other. Google translation is not enough to translate this language into English. But the results are better than that in Japanese. (Usual Japanese sentences haven't subject. Usual Chinese sentences have subject. Also Japanese is "SOV" type, and Chinese is "SVO" type. Most European languages including English are "SVO" type language.).

--------

To get the file uploaded by オトメノ夢 site is sometimes possible. But there are always big problems. Most or all the files are password protected. And we cannot know the password.
To know the pasword, you should join in the site. But to sign up in otomedream is very, very hard. You should send the message. Then they will know your IP address and ISP, thus they will know the nation and region of yours.

In addition, they don't need of any helps from the people other than Chinese. The can reject all the applicants who live in out of the China. Their community can be maintained with the genuine Chninese members.

The otomedream can be the sharing community of Chinese people only. The AS is, on the other hand, global sharing community, if any. This is the big difference between Otomedream and AS.

Thank you very much for explaining some things to me. Sorry I put you in trouble to explain me. Like I said before "ataraxia" is a rare word for a Greek, it is only used in written form. I mean it's a rare word only for a Greek. I didn't know that it is popular in other countries. Of course, Greeks can understand what this word means but they don't use this word in their everyday lives. I know how the word is formed.

The Chinese language is very hard, thank you for explaining some things to me. I don't know if this is true but a friend said to me that the Turkish language is similar to Chinese language. Just her opinion, I personally don't know.

Indeed it is very hard to register in otomedream.

Thank you! :)

Of course Ataraxia is doing well, because we all praying for her ^^ I'm just hoping that I can chat with her again. I also been in contact with few members of the group, they are my friends though, and you too ^^

Yuph yuph, that Baidu trick came to me after I realized that I could only download from Baidu easily, and most of the old R18 games in otomedream are uploaded onto Baidu.
About Nakido, you only need to install the nakido flag, then on the nakido link, download the file ("Add to download manager" or something like that), then you only need to wait for it to be downloaded, after it finished, you can save the file. However you can only download 1 file at a time, and you have to wait till you can download the next file =__= Tiring....

We can sometimes get the file uploaded by the ヲトメノ夢 or one of the members if it from Baidu ,or from the other hosting sites, but the problem is that in many cases, they are password protected and we can not find out the password.
One interesting case (example): The one scanner/uploader of the ヲトメノ夢 wrote the dl link and the clue of the password. I interprted the clues and I though I could solve them and I could find out the password. But when I tried to download the file itself, there was the message and I could not. The Chinese message seems to say (via Google translation) that "Unfortunately, you are too late, the file has been already removed". I could not know when the file was removed.
We should know that what we write here (in the AS forums) can be easily searched from any persons. There is the high possibility that some people in that group may check and read what someone write here. I suppose they have been trying to take measures such as removing files from Baidu etc. since they have been aware that their files had been leaked to the places out of their world. (I think I know a bit more info about this situation. But I do not write it. I had better to keep silence here.)

And btw, as to nakido flag, we can download stuff from nakido without nakido fag. In my environment, I should wait 3 hours per one file, but without nakido flag I can really download stuff from nakido. Waiting time is very long (3 hours).
(I suppose that the download speed does not drastically cahnge between downloadring without and with nakido flag (or, other various download manager which various hosting sites recommend to download and use). Of course I did not confirm this. I in principle do not download and install "unknown manager, application" in my PC.)

Anyway, nakido is the last place. When we can not find any effective dl links, nakido is the only place we can get something.

That's right. That's why I gave up if they don't give the password. Now, I already got the old games I was looking for, so I'm not stressed out. Also, there is already torrent files for the old games. The only problem is patch. We have to look for the patch if the official web didn't provide the patch, or if the downloaded files didn't have it.

I think I tried to download without nakido flag and failed. Was it just me? I forgot though. But the fact we have to wait more than 2 hours is ....

Anyway, back to the topic. The Juuzaengi fanbooks shared before were fanbooks, and not artbook right? I don't know about this, but isn't it actually almost the same? Or is it only consist illustrations with comments on the last page just like CLAMP's or Sailor Moon's artbooks?

This site has patches but only for old games:

http://bl.canadia.info/patches/

The update patches are official you can always find them on the official sites, (if the official sites are not closed).

The "No DVD patch" (No DVD crack) is usually an executable (exe) file that someone modified it so that the game can run without putting the disk of the game in your DVD drive. It is not an official patch. Some games don't have copy protection, you can run these games if you mount the ISO before running the game.

I'm sorry, I'm not writing these to offend you or underestimate you, I don't know if you already know about these things that I wrote I'm just trying to help.

I checked the books, one is a guide book and the other one is a master book. The guide book has an interview, a story, very few cg's, sprites and illustrations and a little info about the characters. Only the first 20 pages are colored.

The masterbook has some illustrations, sprites, capture guide, interview, some information and no cg's (only some small cg's in the capture guide).

The artbook has illustrations, sprites, expressions, cg's…

I can't tell the difference between an artbook and a fanbook. For example, the Black Wolves Saga fanbook is like an artbook, it has illustrations, cg's, expressions, sprites…
But the Wand of Fortune fanbook, has few cg's, sprites, expressions, seiyuu interviews, manga strips… I don't know I'm confused…

But I think the manga artbooks differ, usually the artbooks have color illustrations and some comments from the mangaka like the sailor moon artbooks but the fanbooks usually have few color illustrations and generally few colored pages and detailed info about the characters and settings…

I'm sure you already know this, but miss dream & three-lights.net have sailor moon artbooks. I think vnsharing.net (and of course minitokyo) have some clamp artbooks. Even if you have these artbooks it is nice to have the scans too.

Now I'm feeling bad. XD Thanks, I'll try to be more active here!

Nakido isn't working for me without the flag... maybe it depends on where you live?? O.o

It seems like it's different everytime, depending on what material the development team has.... and if there are several or only one. Doesn't WoF has several artbooks? I'm pretty sure there were two, one with the information and one with the artworks. I remember my best friend swearing but getting both... and then the same situation with Jyuzaengi. She was swearing louder but got all three. XD

Jyuzaengi has three fannbooks in total. sorry, if I'm repeating the same stuff you said, I just want to get it ordered.

1. One with the infos and little art, the Master book. It has Ryubi in childform with everyone else on the cover on the front. It used one of the existing artworks for the cover, while the others got new ones.
2. One with artworks, CGs and profiles with commentaries. It has Ryubi in adult form, Sousou, Kakouton and Chouhi on the front and Chouun and Chouryo on the back of the cover
3. One with big artworks and the linearts, the gengashuu which the original maker of this thread is looking for. It's pretty much useless, if you have the other two already. This book has Sousou and Kan-u on the cover...

The main reason I bought the 3rd book was the cover... and the 2nd as well ... OTL
Sousou, you evil evil sexy man.

Don't own the 1st one though and having some scans would be nice...

Thanks for explaining I was kinda lost! :)
Sorry my bad, I was talking about the Wand of fortune fanbook that it is uploaded here. I think the title is: Wand of Fortune 2 - Jikuu ni Sizumu Mokushiroku - Official Visual Fan Book Kibou no Sho. It is the one that has the info, the only cg's that it has are the few extra cg's from the PSP version of the "Mirai e no Prologue" game. The other book that it is uploaded is this one:
http://www.anime-sharing.com/forum/...ts]-wand-fortune-2-book-fate-[46-4mb]-158538/

This one has the art. By the way 5 cg's of the game are missing.

You are right, there are several Wand of Fortune books at least one fanbook & one artbook per game. The only Wand of Fortune artbooks that I could find scanned are these two that are uploaded here and the "Otomeito Usuba Kagero Selection -La Soiree" which has few cg's and some illustrations from the first game.

I see some nice offers in ebay!! I like ebay because you can use prepaid cards.

The first one is this, the masterbook right?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Juuza-Engi-...986?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item417f90046a

The second one is the guide book?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Juuza-Engi-...807?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item417689c9bf

And the 3rd one is the artbook.

You know what is this Otomate Labo?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Otomate-Lab...268?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4d0d806d9c

Nice cover!

I'm sorry, I'm so dumb, the guidebook that I was talking is the booklet of the game!! Sorry!

Freani uploaded the master book, you can find it here:

http://www.anime-sharing.com/forum/...book-artbook-request-list-157328/#post1109696

(The second one link, the first one is the game guide)

Sorry for writing too many things and for the late reply!

There are various books about these games (because, there are several games who include "Juuza-engi" in thier title, and use the same or similar background settings).

This is originally designed as a game (I imagine). [ In contrast, "Sailor Moon" is originally Manga story written by Takeuchi Naoko. The first season TV anime was created based on her manga story. After this TV anime, the Sailor Moon stories and animes were developped and designed by Takeuchi and Anime producer(s). The anime and manga stories were developped in collabolation of Takeuchi/ Mnaga publisher staff and Anime producing staff, and related producing staff. ]

Then, these games were manganized, novelized, and Guide book and Artbook were published.

In the field of books: there are

1] Manga books based on games
2] Light novel based on games
3] Related Guidebook and Picture book

The 3 books in genre 3 were published in early time.
There are at least these three books:

1) 公式マスターブック Koushiki Master book [ Official Masterbook ] 2012-07-30
2) 原画集 Gengashuu [ Book of the Original pictures, that is, "Artbook" ] 2012-08-24
3) 公式ビジュアルガイドブック Koushiki Visual Guide Book [ Official Visual Guidebook ] 2012-08-31

--------------------------
1) 十三支演義 ~偃月三国伝~ 公式マスターブック (B's-LOG COLLECTION) :: ht tp://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/4047282499/
2) 十三支演義 ~偃月三国伝~ 原画集 :: ht tp://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/4891991054/
3) 十三支演義 ~偃月三国伝~ 公式ビジュアルガイドブック (B's-LOG COLLECTION) :: ht tp://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/4047282502/
--------------------------

1) There is scan of the "Kousiki Masterbook", it was posted in the other thread in AS as kittysim writes.
2) There is scan of "Gengashuu (Artbook)", it was scanned and posted in ヲトメノ夢 forum, we cannot get it.

As to "Official Visual Guidebook", unknown.

People frequently use a name "Artbook". But Artbook is a Collection of (original) Pictures.
For game, there are various books.
Guidebook - How to play or to play successfully.
Fanbook and Guidebook: containing explanations of characters and their relations, settings of the world, interviews to Voice actors, Producer, character designers, story designers etc.

Fanbook and Guidebook contain more or less pictures of games, and sometimes rough sketches and other stuff.

Genuine Artbook contains only pictures and their simple explanations.

Of course I know about the patches and how to use them. I read the "How to use the patch" from official websites, Ataraxia, and other websites which shared the games. I mean that it was troublesome when I extracted the rar files and found out that they didn't include the patches, so I had to look for them. Thankfully I found a website which shared otoge and lovesims patches along with the hook code and AGTH, although I never use them. I saved several patches to see which one of them work on my laptop. However, thank you for sharing another website~ ^^

I love Minitokyo~ At first it had a point system, but now it's gone so we can download as many as we want~ I knew about three-lights and missdream, but vnsharing somehow doesn't work for me =__= I only have the first 3 artbooks of Sailor Moon though. I wanted the last artbooks....and Magic Knight 2nd artbook....
Just like you said, though I have the books, I still willing to download the scan ^O^ Make them as my Windows wallpaper~

Anyway, just like mildis; and Langesha said, the artbook consists mostly, or you can say only, illustrations. That's why it is called artbook, or illustrations book.
Usually 90-95% of artbook consists artworks/illustrations, with simple comments from the illustrator or rough sketches.

I think it's no big deal (I mean no big difference) whether it is an artbook from game or manga.
Hmm.....let me see.... Bleach has artbook and visual fanbooks. Tenipuri also has artbooks and visual fanbook.
If game fanbook mostly consists CG, sprites, short stories, staff comments, and profiles, anime/manga fanbook also consists characters' secrets (which you won't find on original work), fan comments, fanarts, characters Q&A, quiz, etc.
Guidebook is the walkthrough for the game, to have a 100% complete, not only the main story, but also subquests, secrets, maps, etc. For example, Final Fantasy guidebooks, or mostly known as strategy guide.

So anyway, basically the ones Freani shared are master books only? I never noticed =__=
Well then I want to request for the artbook too~ Nyahahahahaha......

This discussion have become super long O__O I hope no one will get mad at us.....

Oh, and Langesha; I'm not that active anymore just like I used to be though. But it will be more relaxing if I can see more of the old "gang" members here ^^

I'm very sorry, please forgive me. I just didn't understand that well what were you trying to say. I'm not implying anything. It was my fault. Sorry!
I like the fact that you don't need to register to download pictures in minitokyo.
I like vnsharing, kind of hard to navigate but always find something with google search.
http://vnsharing.net/forum/showthread.php?t=28068
I think the Magic Knight Rayearth artbook that you're seeking is here. I'm just copying the link in case you already haven't found the artbook.
http://vnsharing.net/forum/showthread.php?t=392193
I too like to set the scans of the artbooks as wallpapers. But my friends mock me!
Thank you very much for explaining. When I was talking about the manga artbooks I had in my mind the Bleach artbook and fanbooks. I was afraid to write about Bleach because everyone hates Bleach! They even treat you as a trash if you admit that you are a fan!!
Yes Freani uploaded the masterbook and the booklet of the game.
Sorry, it is my fault that this conversation is too long, I always write stupid things :(
