what was your first ever anime!!

Pokemon and sailormoon, at age 4

But the first anime i watched that i actually knew was anime was fruits basket....7th grade...i never finished it though it was great

My first anime was Inuyasha. I remember staying up till midnight to watch new episodes. :)

On Animax : I forgot.....
On the Internet: Gosick (found it while reading anime magazines).

On TV, it was either Doraemon or Sailor Moon, can't remember, too long ago. (-_-)
On the internet, it was Fushigi Yugi, since it was so censored on TV that the plot didn't even make sense. :reallyconfused:

the very first anime i watched was around 5~6...i can't remember the title but it was about a genius kid who had a suit that could change into anything (sigh...i don't even remember the plot anymore)

But my first proper anime were pokemon, yu-gi-oh on TV.....naruto on internet

my first anime... that is a hard question, i really dont remember that well but i think it was digimon

One of the gundam series. Watching it over my cousin's shoulder.

My first was actually Cardcaptor Sakura (English dub) before I knew what anime was. From there I saw Pokemon, Digimon, DBZ, YuYu Hakusho, etc. Whatever was on TV at the time.

Years later I found the subbed version of CCS and I'm glad I did. The dub really pales in comparison.

If I remember correctly, the first non-kid friendly anime (like Pokemon or Dragon Ball) I watched was Blue Gender. Probably not the best way to start your otaku career as a 12 year old kid, but it's among the best anime related memories I have.

Back then, Sci-Fi channel still aired in my country and I'd stay up late on Friday nights to watch. I also remember Neon Genesis Evangelion and Martian Successor Nadesico being mixed in with that and the Giant Robo OVA somewhere in between, but I think Blue Gender was first.

Mmm... i think that it was something akin the lines of Gatchaman or something like that.

I don't think I can really count Robotech because it was so americanized.

It would have to be either Blue Gender or Scry-ED.

The anime that truly made me a complete convert though, that was Chobits. In the end, it was the first time I can really truly remember having ever cried from being happy. What can I say, I'm a softy at heart. :)

My first anime ever was Shonen Ninja Fujimaru, from the 60's. They aired it in my country as Samurai Kid.
It was really awesome and made me love anime from the very first minute till the rest of my life !! :D

I wish I were able to have all episodes... I think Youtube has just one..

I know I saw a tiny bit of pokemon sometime when I was a kid, but maybe only an episode or two. First would probably be Trigun or FLCL.

First I can remember watching and loving was Mobile Fighter G Gundam when I was like 12-13. Can't remember the ending, but I remember it blowing my mind haha.

Oh man, my first anime was Sailor Moon.
I was so into Sailor Moon when I was younger! I remember wanting everything sailor moon related.
Yeah, it turned into a mild obsession.
for my 4th birthday, my mom even handmade me a Sailor Moon piñata. <3 ;-;

I forgot about anime for a while after they stopped airing Sailor Moon for some reason... However, I rediscovered my love for anime in my angsty middle school pre-teen years with Fullmetal Alchemist. :P
