damn.. i am like one win away from prinz, but i don't have any ammo anymore and it's already difficult enough to scrape one more win.

xD I'm only one clear off E4 finishing xD I still have 25k fuel and 21k bullet to burn with 226 buckets xD

Trying to, so far I have had an S Rank success at the boss node once but all subsequent attempts have ended with heavy damage before the boss node.

Also I am seriously considering increasing the max. ship quota. How can I do that?

At the moment? I've 4 repair facility, 4 building facility and 140 ship slots xD And that's so cruel, second time trying, boss was left with 23 hp at night battle ;_;

Jintsuu, Noshiro, Prinz, Myoukou, Shoukaku, Zuikaku, Hiryuu, Souryuu, Harusame, Shimakaze, Hibiki, Hamakaze, Urakaze, Tanikaze, Nowaki, Akizuki, Ayanami and they keep stacking up i'm going insane

you should go for akizuki. she is a good ship and her equipment is nice.

at that moment i was like hq lvl 68 or 69. i did E-2 with this lineup:

Isuzu Kai lvl 44, Hibiki Kai lvl 41, Hatsuharu Kai lvl 30, Fubuki Kai lvl 29, Yuudachi Kai lvl 28, Ayanami Kai lvl 23. actually managed to do it with this. lol

I'm giving up on E-3, there's not enough time left anyway. At the very least I got some experience for events and have leveled CLs and DDs which I had never cared about before :P

Kinda weird to explain but to put it simply the ships you put in the expedition will attack all at once after the opening airstrike and before the opening torpedo phase (they don't much damage and they miss most of the times but they can be handy at getting read of the escort ships in boss nodes). You will notice that they are 2 expeditions, the first one is always for normal nodes while the second one is only for the boss node. I only recommend using the second one since the first one can just not proc (it won't succeed and won't attack) and you will be wasting resources. I mostly use the heavy fleet composition for it which is 2DD2BB2CVL. You equip all red guns on the DDs and CVLs and your best red planes on the CVLs (should be noted that plane slots doesn't matter so you can put a Suisei on a 8 plane slot or Kaga's legendary 46 plane slot and it will deal the same damage, which is also why you use CVLs instead of CVs)

support expeditions sink 2-3 ships for me, when i am lucky. sometimes they dont do much, though. you should try it.

And I have only 3 free slots for new ships with the other 97 ships all heart-locked so I probably have to increase my max ship quota as well. Or let some of my poor Kanmusu go ;_;

I noticed you have a rather high HQ level compared to your ship levels, mind sending me a list with your ship and levels (pure curiosity) ?

That's because he went and farm 1-5 before I could tell him its too late. The side effect of farming 1-5 is that you level your Admiral level way quicker than your ships can catch up.

no but you should start leveling your girls to a level close to your HQ level. Start grinding ships one by one, 4 of each type to start with going from heavier to lighter. BB->CV->CVL->CA->CLT->CL->DD->SS. I don't personally use submarines but 3-2 grinding requires one so it doesn't hurt.
