aparently Illusion is closing on Aug 18 2023

according to the page http://www.illusion.jp/see-you-next-time on their site
illusion services and accounts will be closing down from:

July 14 - ending the weekly homepage updates and members content updates.

Aug 1 - ending mail orders downloads

ending on Aug 18 with mail order packages, DL store sales, steam sales, official support, update file distribution, reservations, upload services, mail member content delivery AND the suspension of their youtube and twitter accounts

there is no indication of a temporary stop of services nor a date.
so it seems this time they are going for good.
and it's not April so...

if anyone has an illusion product. you might want to DL a copy of your product just in case :P

(old guy here) I think my first Illusion game was des blood 2... 1998-99 something like that.
but just like elf, C's ware, mink, teatime and others. it had to go sometime.

too bad we didn't get the reboot we were hoping for Artificial Academy and Artificial Girl.

Holy shit, it's quite sad news.
Been with them since AG probably, they are the top in 3d eroge.
It will be impossible to replace them.

PS. It looks like there is another group created ILLGAMES with planned release of Honeycomb game

Illusion is dead! long live... cr@p the closest successor would be Kiss... and they are not into making free roam games... and the sims s*cks now... and miconisomi has been making the same game for more than 2-3 years, and it doesn't look like free a roam sim...

Good news actually, KISS' newest game announced CRC3D3 (Custom Romance City) will have free roam and such with high poly models, I recommend checking it out.
