A short and simple game.
You take charge of a (merchant?) ship, and build it to ferry goods/people. Eventually you meet various people and collect jewels that unlock a hidden treasure. The game is rather short. Once you collected 5 jewels and start hunting for the treasure, it ends quite quickly then. Probably for other endings you would need to perform a lot of tasks.
Building a ship uses the ship main brain, which you have 2 in the beginning(grey/silver blocks), and any compartments you want to put in must be connected to the main brain. Later in the story, you will get the 3rd. After completing the game once, when you start a new game, you can get clear bonus of money as well as 1 more ship brain, giving u 3 slots to start with. Certain events can also give you more of these slots.
The first run should be the most difficult due to the lack of connections you can make.
There are 2 main parts you have to take care of. The trading part, which is likely consisting of building storage space and buying low selling high, or taking on requests like sending items to various planets.
The other, which is more story related, requires you to fight or at least defend yourself so you can make it to your destination. There are a few destinations that are very difficult to get to due to many enemies swarming at you. You would require large amounts of funds to remodel your ship for combat so you can make it across.
Likely, you might have to switch between the two from time to time, so you would need to have a lot of spare cash.
There are special colored quests to bring goods to different locations. These can be story related, or asking you to bring special videos. These special videos unlock certain scenes that are not related to the game. For story related scenes/events, you would need to take a break from time to time. Certain things are unlocked only when you meet certain objectives. Ship components seem to be unlocked related to the parts you use(ferry enough people and you can build entertainment facilities for extra income)? Character events likely require certain objectives too (resting at certain time/place is a must, as some characters are in their own planet. May also need to raise the star level of the planet?)
To trigger events, it is useless to just keep resting at the same location. You need to leave and return to the planet before you rest again for events. I managed to get an extra slot during an event shortly after leo event on my second run.
For trading, you would find that there are indications of certain types of items that can sell for higher prices at the different planets. But selling items in bulk seems to be able to lower their selling price. Meeting the planet's monthly goal helps to increase the stars of the planet. Certain planets unlock additional goods when you get more stars. The maximum number of stars is 5.
To improve the efficiency of your travels, engines may be able to help reduce travel time(not sure, untested)? But what is interesting is if you keep using the same route for travel, the number of stops(turns) to travel across that path will reduce. This is seen by a stronger light path as well as the reduction in dots. It should be possible to reduce any long paths to require only a single turn to travel! So you can design your own merchant route for faster transportation!

There are 8 types of compartments, I am not sure about the first
1 - Engine? - Increase your ship's travel distance
2 - Storage: S1, S2, S4, M6, M8, M9 - the number indicates the number of goods it can store.
3 - Guest rooms (for ferrying people. Estimated 0.5 earning per person ferried. Number of people varies)
4 - Entertainment facilities (increases income from ferrying people)
5 - Guns (HP- how much damage before it is unusable. Count - number of times you can use it. Range x~x shows the distance it can attack. Damage - Damage per hit x number of hits per attack. Accuracy - hit rate)
6 - Ship attachments - Can carry various types of mines/robots/decoy etc. Seems to be used when engaged in combat.
7 - Defense parts - Avoiding certain attacks(solid rounds, laser, missiles), or armor that takes damage first to protect other parts
8 - Unique parts - KUxx series are scanners. HP shows HP, Field of view is the range you can see in combat. Accuracy boosts the accuracy of your weapons. There is also the workship to get additional item when you move to a destroyed enemy ship, and the repairship that repairs every turn.
Your ship is only destroyed when every part is destroyed. However, once your weapons are destroyed, you cannot fight. So later on do consider investing in good armor. Do not worry about storage compartments etc getting destroyed, as they will be repaired and you do not lose any goods/people (don't ask me how a guest cabin can be destroyed but everyone is fine...). Losing a battle just sends you back to your previous planet and you can try again.
