All the shiny (wild-caught) I ever had was a shiny Spinda and a shiny Zubat (which I actually used and raised to Crobat in the game I got it)...

...not counting the mandatory Red Gyarados, though.

I got a 5IV Male JPN Vulpix from WT so I used the "interest" Battle Points to get myself a Power Lens...and, I finally got a Drought Female Vulpix with perfect IV from about 60 eggs...that reproduction rate helped a lot.

Quiet nature...never mind that, I'm naming ither Karin.

By the way...I got my hands onto a Mudkip...

So I got 2DS and Pokemon Y.

I'm doing a run on Y using all six generations' fire starters (breed four from X then hatch in destination and the normally obtainable ones picked up in-game, hooray for PSS being able to trade right after getting Dex)...with boost from the 3DS/Pokemon X... I set Y cart to play in Japanese for some reason...maybe for some Japanese-named 'mons...despite that I'll be deleting save to start over for Y cart.

As of now, I'm going to Parfum palace...Monferno carries a lot of weight thanks to its (somehow got that) Thunderpunch. Charmeleon may not see any use until it can mega-evo, Combusken got no speed boost but Night Slash managed to come with it, nothing worth mentioning about Quilava and Pignite, and the Magic Fox (forgot the mid evolution name) got Psybeam for some coverage...

...and looks like I got a bogus Pokerus from WT that after cured leaves no smiley. I'm trying another one I got right now and see if it works.

By the way...someone threw Zygarde on WT and I was the lucky guy...

If you need a female to pass on egg moves..Riolu already has Vacuum Wave if that's what you're aiming for.

I finally found a legal Pokerus strain in my inventory (my Talonflame gets its smiley now). Still no shiny whatsoever though.

4x O-power recharge rate+EXP power rank 2/3+EXP share = game broken. Doing that for Y via X...my fire team is going all the way up, with Monferno well past 30 and others in mid to late 20s. Past Fossil (picked Sail that I missed in X, will trade it in exchange for a legit Pokerus carrier) and on the way to second gym...

Yea. leveling in X/Y is far too easy.
Was kinda disappointed about that. Made the game too easy =/
Gym Leaders, E4 members and Champion weren't high leveled either..

Factor in Amie Boost and...we are having an even bigger ROFLstomp. In fact, ROFLstomping had never been this easy up until this point.

Not that I would complain...many things were made easier and more accessible, like IV breeding and passing hidden abilities by male...I wouldn't be having the perfect IV Drought Vulpix if not for the more accessible IV breeding mechanics.

Amie is so much fun...if you can spare the time, of course (but only berry minigame is worth it; others are too hard, at least for me)...I think you can just spend 100k in that mega hotel if you want Sylveon without using Amie.

...nor do I. I'm breeding some more Honedge for Sp. Def IV in mineral group. I'll have to infect them all with Pokerus and/or give them Starfs before sending them because they are so common on WT.

You guys say levelling's been easy, any tips? I keep visiting restaurants only for exp and some cash, feels like an eternity to me now when i have well over 100 pokemons to train from level 1. How do you guys train? Dont factor in Amie boost.

Chateau and Audino pinatas (trainers in furisode always carry Audino), Lucky Egg, high grade writ of invitation (they replace like...every transition with the high grade writ of invitation), EXP O-power (charge the DS up by accumulating steps)...and possibly Writs of Challenge.

Money can easily be refunded because of the Chateau's high payout if you paid any.

I wonder how fast can I Amie a team of six fully...I've done it in the current Y run, and 1.5x EXP boost plus the 3x from O-power is making me ROFLstomping things left and right.

P.S. With an initial investment of 200,000 (Silver and Gold writs of Invitation) I managed to multiply it into something like 2-3 millions throughout one day...Gold Writ+Amulet coin+Level 3 Money power, and you are getting multiple tens of thousands per fight (Gym leaders with all boost = 72000, E4 with all boost = 99000, for starters). The Silver Writ keep people rotating in and out allowing for almost continuous cash flow...I decided to soup Xerneas's PP reserve all the way up (yay for lottery and a truckload of PP Ups) so that I can keep doing it with less trips back to PC...now remind me to get [something with Mold Breaker and Quake] so that I can break through Clemont's Magnezone/Wilkstorm's Probopass in one blow...

They all's IVs are 31-even number-31-30-31-30, so they all can use Fire Type Hidden Power. Nature is Modest. Plus, they all have four egg moves. Wish, Yawn, Fake tears, and Stored Power.
You can choose any ability(including Anticipation) if you don't care about gender. Almost them are male. My 1 box is filled with such Eevees.

Breeding and hatching all the eggs is one thing, getting a team-in-use to five hearts in Amie/Parlour is another thing. I don't recall myself saying much about breeding the past few posts, but I think I can puke at least half Lumiose City down with all the ride round the Prism Tower and all those hatched 'Mons thrown to Wonder Trade...and Heart Scale are so easy to come by in X/Y compared to the past generations.

Now my Y save is approaching 8th gym, and all the starters now get their uses - Blaziken (no mega, Night Slash) and Infernape (T-punch) do much of the battles, Zard (Y) for sky battles and sun, Typhlosion for non-contact/Eruption strikes, Emboar for Scald, and Delphox for Psychic/Ghost cover.

...and for those who, for whatever reason, cannot walk the 3DS all the way for 4x O-power recharge but want to have it, I suggest gripping the 3DS firm and air drum, preferably with music to go along with it.

Daycare...I wouldn't trust them to raise my Pokemon all the way up to 100...but old habits are pretty hard to break - been spamming League since Crystal, and nowadays there are so many opportunities outside that I don't have to bother much with League.
