BL games are a niche genre and don't easily become commercial products, so many end up as free games:unsure:
Is there perhaps a thread where we can exchange information about such BL free games?
Maybe I'm not searching correctly.

I see, so discontinued games can be uploaded.
However, it's hard to find information about free games, and by the time I notice, they've already been taken down...:eek:

Yes, you can post old discontinued freeware games, but you can't post a free game that's currently easy to access and download because that would be considered spam.
You can also upload games that aren't listed on VNDB, since not all games are there. In fact, I've uploaded visual novels before anyone else even posted them there in VNDB. But they must be visual novels, of course. :unsure:

Since you're familiar with this forum, I'd like to hear your opinion: are older free games that have been discontinued suitable for posting?
They might be individually made and not of high quality, but I think they're interesting and would be a shame to lose.

Funny that you should mention this. I just made a request thread for a freeware game that appears to be lost to time. It would be great to have this or any other games lost to time. Thank you for sharing your games, either way! I love seeing old japanese BL games, regardless!
