I've gotten better over time, so I'm just thankful for that. Shadows are a major pain, that's for sure. Sometimes the frustration becomes so heavy, that I feel like turning off self-shadows for certain lights. Can't be having glow-in-the-dark nips! lol

Ahh, well, that explains a lot. You might not want to use those studio mods I mentioned, then, since they're only for StudioNEO.
...Yes, that would be me, though I think that was mostly due to my battling the graphics patches Curve settings. It's possible I did that with NEO's release, too, I don't remember. I must have fixed ALL my girls like 5+ times! When you've got that many girls, you can imagine all the time wasted doing that. -_- Needless to say, I've settled on a Curve I like, that being SampleCurve3.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I felt about it! Pretty dull, bad acting, too serious and not enough 'stupid' Arnold action! I still think his best are Predator, Total Recall, and True Lies. (Yeah, I know, blasphemous to leave off Terminator & T2... My response to that?

It's mostly in-game lighting, but yeah, there's some post-work done for that particular look, as well.
You'll get the hang of it! You should check out sin07's lighting tutorials on HF, they are very helpful!
If you use the light-items, in conjunction with the extra lighting used by HSStudioNEOAddon_0.7.3, I think you might have an easier time. I almost never use the lighting from ShortcutsHS, now. (The key is actually "N" for Neo, but it was "B" for the original Studio. Are you still using that?)

Yes, I remember it like it was yesterday... HF was on a slow down-slide, but that pretty much destroyed it. We used to have bigger avatars, actual rep that meant something, and a forum that functioned properly. :( At least the pastebin exists... can you imagine not having it, anymore!? So sad!

Well, it's not a total fix, but you can help with the loading times by making bUseRegEx=False for the Translation.ini. The performance drop issue will continue, though. : /

HF is a poop-fest, and I don't understand why modders continue to go on that festering toilet. They should just make a permanent move, here, and be done with it.
I am grateful for how fun HF was in the past, though, so it's a shame to see what it has fallen into.

Ugh, the not knowing factor is a major pain. I've got plenty of stuff I'll never use, thanks to that. Charging people for mods, pssht, to hell with that!

I managed to fix many of the mods with Japanese writing thanks to the pastebin, actually, since they have the translated names for them by the links. Figuring out which was which was pretty tricky, though.
