Yuri in Otome

Do you guys consider Yuri catered to women should be in the otome section? I love straight otome medias don't get me wrong but sometimes a lesbian story is great too!
I wonder if we should also make a megathread for Yuri/GL medias such as for the BL Megathread. Even though there's not a lot of GL medias made for women.
What do you guys think? Are there any GL enjoyer as well in the otome Community?

Yes but tbh, there are so few of them it doesn't make a difference.
Il I want to date cute girls, I just play galge. The guys are so useless in those kinds of games that it doesn't really make much difference in the end

i like yuri!! including in otome:D in reasonable quantities of course! (so not a 1:2, but a 1:5 for example)
however, id say its hard to define whether a yuri game is for women, for men, or for everyone. same with manga actually. most modern yuri games cater to everyone regardless of sex, while older yuri titles seemed to prioritize the male audience. its different with bl, because you have bl for women, and then theres bl by men for men aka bara. unfortunately there are not that many female creators who would create yuri games for women, but i feel like there are some indie devs here and there! just because a genre is less popular than others doesnt mean you should feel discouraged to participate in anything related to it..!

also, i agree that there should probably be a megathread for yuri, just like there is one for bl. seems like there are a lot of people on this forum who would love to discuss their favourite yuri manga/games/etc, but theres no dedicated space for it currently. so i personally support this idea:D

Yeah I guess I could do that but Galge feels like just kink to me lol, maybe I'm too severe in what I want. Do you have any recos that seem tame?

I see thank you! To me it's a be hard cause there seems to be a lot of games sexualizing lesbians couples and not making the girls human, if you can understand what I mean. I find my lesbian things on itch.io for vn's I even have 2 女性向け asmr for lesbians lol it's so good! And of course drama cd's but I couldn't find the one I'm eying for lol.
As for a megathread yes I would gladly love one. I don't know if it's a mod who had to do it or if anyone could do it though.
