Your favorite itch.io otome games at the moment?

I want to mention some developers, especially the solo ones or people who direct their games because they have a particular style that stands out.

The Freak Circus!! I really like the vibe, but its really short so far :c
I also loved Seiyuu Danshi, as a BL game. I played it several times, maybe I should replay it haha
Then as a third there's The Divine Speaker as well :3
 
i mentioned this game in another thread but i just wanna keep spreading the retrospection of tomorrow propaganda!! the mc is so pretty and she's super determined too. although it's not finished, i wouldn't quite call it just a demo bc act 1 and 2 are very long (plus i think the dev said 3 out 4 love interests had their routes complete)
 
I like Dead Wishes, I stopped looking for games there after Sunny Day Jack. The disappointment I felt toward the creator and his irresponsibility discouraged me.
 
Don't mind me, just casually noting down all the recommendations in here for future play haha...as for a recommendation myself, I loved A Date With Death and am excited for it's upcoming sequel!! Also Our Life is a strong western VN, though it's amare (choosing gender/pronouns instead of purely FeMC) and I'm not entirely sure if it's on itch.io, as my copy is from Steam.

Same. I replayed already many times and can't wait for next update. Also i like Kingdom Of Marionettes and it reminded me a bit of Freak Circus + yandere also haha

I haven't played many itch.io games, but I really enjoyed Favor.
 
there are so much games to play and all are so amazing! but the only thing is that most of them are 'work in progress' and only available in demos :(

i definitely recommend all of the mentioned ones while adding some:
— telluricene (is soooooo wonderful (and the developer said it's getting released in may this year)
— love limit (IS SO CUTE FUNNY AND JUST PLAY IT TOTALLY WORTH IT)
— to eat a god (no words just full awe and appreciation)
— saint spell book (8bit art and whole lot of characters to build relationships with and all whimsy and magic theme)
— don't eat the cashier (i replayed this for idk 5-6 times already and every time it just hits right)

My favorite right now is Darling Duality (a WIP) by Melancholy Marionette. I really love how the love interests (Castor and Castoria) look and the overall vibe. She also made bittersweet blythe, which was super good too! I prefer thematic stuff, with voice acting or music, so her VN's hit me so hard when they first came out, and even now that I'm replaying them.
 
it's not strictly otome but Cursed Covenant by larky labs. It's 18+ but by the end I was crying.
