You guys prefer novel or manga?

I prefer manga! I enjoy seeing the characters and the art style while following the story. But I think novels are great, too! It really depends on the story.

Manga because of the beautiful artwork. I only read (light) novels if there's no manga/anime adaptation

I think I lean more toward manga! I love being able to see the characters and their expressions. Plus pretty art always makes a story more enjoyable for me! 🥹 But I enjoy novels too if the story really catches my interest! ♡

I honestly like both for different reasons, but I tend to lean toward novels when I want a really long, immersive story (*^^*)

The illustrations add a lot to it for me, so I like manga more from these two. Novels can be great too though of course.

I prefer manga because it's easier to get into and I can read it casually without much effort.
If I really love a series, I'll read the novels, too. I feel like stories tend to stick with me more when I read them in novel form.

When I was younger, I preferred comics, but as I've gotten older, I've come to prefer novels. With comics, I find myself gravitating only toward those with strong storytelling or direction. Novels, on the other hand, seem to offer more experimentation, which has led me to explore a wider variety of genres. These days, I'm definitely into novels! 😁

I like both, but novels a little more. The beauty of novels is that they come with descriptive paragraphs that helps my creative mind think about it. I'm going to compare it to films. I love the Harry Potter films, but what the films couldn't capture is the deep thoughts that Harry is doing when we read the novel. A good example would be when Harry sees Ginny being with other men we get to see the actor being mad, but not the internal conflict that is going on at that time like we see and read in the novels. I feel manga does do a better job at this, but the thing about manga is they tend to cut down a lot of what's happening in the novel.

Honestly manga, because I kind of have to mentally train myself first to be able to handle novels (attention span is fried) but I'm willing to branch out & try different things, I probably have to find something easy to read first though

I like reading manga more because I love looking at the art and the intricate details the artist put into it. But if I want faster updates with the story I also check the novel version.

I prefer novels.
The reason is that with manga, I find myself trying to take in every detail on every single page, which makes reading them take a long time and leaves me exhausted—that just doesn't suit me. Since I've always loved reading text, I prefer novels.

I like both! Manga/Manhwa art is good but novel is more descriptive imaginative and has hidden thoughts of the characters that would allow you to understand the story more. What I like to do is simply read the novel first because it is always far ahead and then read the manga/manhwa once the chapters are uploaded!

I like both, but I read CN novels and JP manga. But I think I tend to be more picky with mangas since I usually have to like both the art and plot while novels I just choose based on the plot.

Lol I want to say both as long as the story is well written but.........WHO DOESN'T like PICTURES?!!
:akazukin_shock:Don't you want to see those hot smexy six pack abs and a face that you'll envy for millenniums?! Therefore, I hate to say but novel definitely lost.:deadsad: (Pst) (whispers) The correct answer is MANGA :akazukin_idk:
