What can reduce the download speed in XDCC?.
In the last couple of days i've been downloading some files and i notice that the speed varies between 20kB/s- 50kB/s which is slow and it is happening in different sites too.
Why that happens, is because i have the torrent client open even if it is not downloading nothing at all, is 'cause the boot is overcharge or there is something wrong in my mIRC configuration.
Is the first time i have this problem using this method of download, so i am little confuse.

Thanks for reading and your help!.:)

it could be various of effects, the most obvious would be your internet connection speed, also the Also it might be the torrent servers are slow today....

also speeds vary from site to site...
also yeah seeding causes another slowdown. Also try refreshing the torrent aswell.

Will98... Yes!, i am seeding some torrents.

@Selvaria-Bles... I don't think the problem is my speed connection but certainly the torrent might be.

try pausing your seeds til your download is finished.

also remember speeds tend to vary pending on the site and server..

Well!... Then, having the torrent client open is in fact a problem, that's something i didn't knew.
Thanks you two for your help.
Greetings!!.

it can be, remember when your seeding your uploading data.

also your upload speed isn't as fast as your download speed to boot.

so its natural it will be slower when you download. I have experienced many torrents before I can semi help with problems.
