Would you rather be stuck in a yandere route or a bad ending?

I will choose a bad ending if logic can convince me.

Instead of being trapped in a yandere route and seeing any future or hope, it's just a vicious cycle, it's better to give me a bad end and be happy.

Yandere route lmao

Sometimes a bad ending leaves you with no hope, like being constantly chased or everyone dying except you. I would sacrifice myself to become the yandere's obsession as long as everyone else stays alive and happy. But hey... at least it isn't a bad ending, a yandere route can be happy too!

I might be locked up or isolated from the outside world, but as long as my yandere bias's eyes are obsessed with me, it's absolute heaven! lol

If it's yandere "route" and not yandere "ending", I'd prefer a simple bad end, as I can imagine hundreds of ways a route could go wrong 😅 Bad ends in modern day stories are just "and you man left you", so I can deal with it. Yandere, on the other hand, may not be so simple

I don't really like yanderes but I also don't like bad endings that ends with someone dying. If I had to choose, I think it would depend on how severe the bad ending would be. If it's really sad or is just a terrible outcome, I would pick the yandere route.

it depends on the bad ending, if its just the LI giving up and finally leave me alone then I will choose that. If the bad ending including someone getting hurt or even die, i would rather stuck in a yandere route 😭 besides, being obsessed with the LIs is not really a bad deal... if you ignore all the red flags though haha

Yandere route definitely.

Some yandere are fun and some are scary but some bad ends are... very very bad. Like bad end might mean "MC and LI don't end up together but still live happy lives" or it could mean "MC is kept captive and tortured for years on end". Not worth rolling the dice on that. At least with the yandere there is a chance for a happy ending. Hopefully no torture.

Honestly, I would choose the yandere route ending a thousand times over—firstly, because my favorite characters almost always have that kind of personality or nature. Not to mention, I get a bigger adrenaline rush and a stronger desire to see what happens next. Plus, being kept locked up wouldn't really be a problem for me, since I mostly stay in my room or at home anyway; the only real difference would be that I'd no longer be living alone, but rather with someone obsessed with me. 😅

Yandere route for sure if means that everyone else is fine!! And then hope that Stockholm syndrome will do its thing to me hahaha

Yandere for me! Bad ends are sometimes everyone is dead and everything is awful, but with yandere routes usually people are mostly okay! Plus im a huge introvert, so if they dont want me going out and talking to other people? Fine by me, as long as i can have some online friends! Also I have crippling anxiety about things like strangers breaking in, so if theyve got cameras all around me that actually puts me at ease 🙏

Depending on the yandere and the bad end in question, some bad ends are really something I'd consider a fate worse than death like Henri's in Piofiore episodio 1926, meanwhile a Yandere route like, idk, Toma's in amnesia can... potentially not be so bad or hard to survive?? If we play our cards right.

If I had to choose between the two without knowing how either route ends, I'd go with the yandere route!
Bad endings can be truly heartbreaking, with absolutely no hope of salvation sometimes...
With a yandere route, everyone except the yandere character and me would probably be safe and sound, outside of our little world. And if I accepted their love, well, I might even find happiness in that kind of relationship!

Aren't those two usually the exact same thing anyway? Lmao. But if I really had to pick, I'd take the yandere route. At least in a yandere route, the LI is completely obsessed with keeping me alive, fed, and safe—even if it means living inside a gilded cage with zero privacy. A bad ending usually means dying in some horrific way, betrayal, or enduring eternal emotional trauma with nobody winning. I'll take Stockholm syndrome over a straight-up game over screen any day!

Yandere route , i think yandere has levels and ofc I don't want extremely yandere 🤣 ( part of me feel like even if he was low yandere , he will grow to extremely 😂)

I'd definitely rather be stuck in a yandere route. At least I'd still have a story to experience and the possibility of finding out how everything ends. And honestly, I'm not going to lie, intense and obsessive characters are really interesting to me in fiction. 👀
A bad ending is different… if I've already reached the end, what am I supposed to do after that? So yeah, I'd rather suffer through a yandere route than be stuck in a bad ending. (・∀・)

I mean, it depends a lot lmao
If it's a bad ending in contemporary otoge or something, I'd take that as it's less likely to be too bad
But a fantastical/historical setting... chances of me dying are pretty high lol

For a yandere route, I could probably take a delusional one tbh. Just need to plan your words/actions right and you may be able to escape (or get him to compromise!). But a calculating one? I'd rather try my luck elsewhere ;b

Like many others said it depends. I mean I'm not the yandere type but I have a chance to lead into a good end. I'm down for trying rather than be dead in a bad end
