Will you play otome games forever?

If you started playing otome games in your teens, there's a chance that it will be a part of you forever (or so I think). I've noticed that the things that I used to be into back then eventually find their way back to me, those interests may not stay for long but for sure in a few years, the fire would rekindle again. The same goes for otome games but more intensified as it's a huge part of who I am. I have taken some months-long break from otomege or a year-long one and I eventually come back. Especially when I have lots of free time lol, it's just really enjoyable and really fun to add a potential LI to my faves list

As long as I don't lose interest, I think I'll keep going! But I do think my tastes might change as I get older. That's not really something I can control, though. For now, I just want to enjoy this hobby as much as I can.

This is a good question, it makes me sad, adult life can get involved, for example, I am a huge fan of BL, but I have not read it for two years, but I still like it, maybe the same case happens that for a while I stop playing them? And then I come back, but the idea of just nevera playing again because I'm already older makes me sad.

I am kinda playing otome game in specific seasons rather than playing everyday. Since because of my full time I don't have plenty time to enjoy the game. Usually I played during spring break or summer break where my work closed and give us vacations. Thats the only time I am concentrating on playing game. Also, I don't play every otome game. I am picky when it comes to plot so I choose wisely and effectively based on people review and me reading the offical website to see if it match my taste. Also, I am picky on arts and CG.

Yes yes yes! I will definitely continue playing FOREVER haha, even tho I dont have the time right now I still love and see myself playing in the future 😍

Maybe? I haven't been playing much lately and I might play more often in the future. I'll just keep playing at my own pace.

I feel that the girl game is like a dessert. It will be greasy if you eat it, but sometimes you will want to eat it, so you may play it, but it will be piece by section.

Not necessarily. As my mood and living environment change, the things I'm interested in might change too.

Yes, I would never stop playing otome games; no matter how childish it might sound to others, my tastes are my own, and if people don't like it, that's their problem. Even if a voice told me I needed to "act my age," I wouldn't listen to it either.
Otome games—along with dramas, anime (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc.), and Asian manga, manhua, or manhwa—are my only serious hobby. They have helped me immensely on an emotional level in various ways; giving them up would be like losing a part of my soul. So, I would never stop playing, regardless of how many responsibilities pile up. I enjoy them so much that I'm even learning Japanese for them—after all, why would I put in the effort to learn the language if I were just going to quit? So, no, I wouldn't give it up.

I don't think I'm willing to drop anything just because I'm getting older - tbf we should normalize older people enjoying things that aren't considered "OLD PEOPLE" things (even if those things are still cool, like?? Knitting?? I love it.). I'll be playing FromSoft games until they put me in my grave!!! And when I don't want to get my ass kicked by a boss I'll turn to otome and BL games!!

If I had the time and money, I'd want to play otome games forever. 🥲
Even though not every otome games is a masterpiece but, I've had such crazy experiences with some of them that I just can't seem to stop.

I don't see myself giving up otome games, even when I'm old and wrinkly lol. I've been playing since my pre-teen years, and they've been a source of comfort and a huge help during the rough patches I've gone through, and they still are. I guess it's like a comfort zone I always find myself returning to. It's one of the few hobbies I've never quit, and honestly, I don't think I ever will, even if the plot is set in high school or whatever else
