It is true that as I've gotten older, I can no longer think of myself the way I used to—as a girl who knows nothing yet.
However, because it offers a unique appeal not found in reality, I don't think I'll ever stop enjoying it, even if I have less time for it or go long periods without playing.

I'll probably just have less time for games, but other than that — new games keep coming out every year and they just keep getting better, so I'm definitely not dropping them anytime soon.

I started playing otome games when I was 12, and they changed me forever.

They opened the door to the Japanese language for me. They taught me about love, and showed me just how deep and meaningful storytelling could be. They hold such a special place in my heart.

I honestly think that even when I'm an old grandmother, I'll still be playing otome games and screaming over handsome voice actors.

I'm actually very picky, and I don't easily get invested in just any game. There are only a handful of otome games that I truly love. But when one manages to leave a mark on my heart, I don't just like it. I fall ridiculously deep into it.

For example, the philosophy explored in Wand of Fortune genuinely changed the way I see life. That's the kind of impact these games can have on me.

Otome games have become a part of who I am. They're not just games to me. They're a part of my identity.

I used to go through an entire game quickly before but now that I am older I space my games and take my time completing the game. Many people I know have quit playing games and watching anime cause they don't relate to high schooler protagonists and all? But I don't think I will ever quit playing though and will be a granny happily playing my otome games forever

it's been years and i still enjoy playing them it does depend on my mood but i don't feel like i may ever get bored of them especially since im excited at the idea of saving up to buy some and im even thinking of buying a switch to play the recent ones that i can't access noww :((( ,otome games will always be comforting and nostalgic to me

Whenever I get tired of the usual formulas of commercial otome games,
I tend to dive into the ocean of doujin otome games instead, since they often have more out-there ideas,
as well as unique angles for approaching a story outside the usual framework.
Then whenever I see some interesting news about a commercial otome game again, I'm back.

That said, I really do wish otome games had more MCs who are working adults.
I like MCs with more mature personalities.

I'd also love to see more older, steady male LIs.
I'm obsessed with how stories portray all the undercurrents between adults—
their thoughts, interactions, and the back-and-forth...

I plan to keep playing otome games for a long time to come, too!
It's true that sometimes it's hard to relate to teenage characters, but I intend to keep enjoying the games without letting that bother me too much.
