Which otome games are dramatic, but still have a truly happy ending for every LI?

I like dramatic or angsty stories, but I also don't like bad or bittersweet endings. That's the same reason why I only play good endings. I was once burned by a happy ending that wasn't happy at all (maybe they were happy for now, but it was clear that in a few years they would experience despair and that fate was inevitable) and now I'm afraid of that kind of ending . For me, it's not a big problem if a LI is only happy in his own route or dies in the routes of the other LIs, but he and the MC need to be happy at the end of his route. It has to end on a happy note and you have to get the feeling that they will be happy and okay. Without giving away spoilers, it's pretty hard to figure out if the good endings of a game are really happy, especially when it comes to games that are rather dramatic. Do you have any recommendations for me? I liked games like Mistonias Hope and Code: Realize and am also a fan of Fantasy and Fantasyelements.

Honestly I would advise you to stay away from Virche Evermore even though I personally enjoyed it x) The game forces you to play through the bad endings first before you can unlock the "salvation" endings, but despite the name most of these are bittersweet at best (and one in particular is just plain depressing).
Even if tempest has a similar structure where you have to experience bad endings first, but there is light at the end of the tunnel and the "true" endings are actually happy. If you haven't played it I would highly recommend it, it reminds me a bit of C:R with the fantasy and found family elements, as well as a strong and driven MC. It does deal with some heavy themes but there is always hope and a few moments of comedic relief.

Cafe Enchante (except for one infamous route lmfaoo), Even if Tempest, and Volontes (Havent played all routes but the ones ive played so far have a truly happy ending) seem right up your alley

Yeah. Virche was pretty fast on my "do not play" list as soon as i heard of it . I actually just recently thougt about getting Even if tempest at some point. I normally dont play any sort of bad ending, but because of the whole

I actually heard of that one ending in Cafe Enchante.

Maybe I play Cafe Enchante if i can look past that ending or am ok with not playing that route in the future. Even if Tempest and Volontes are interesting thou! I already said some things about Even if Tempest, but it really sounds interesting and it gets praised a lot, so I propably going to check it out. I startet playing the demo of Volontes in the past, but never finished it. I need to take a look at it again! Thank you for the recommendations!

Nice to hear you feel the same way about bad endings and liked Even if Tempest despite not usually liking bad endings. I hate it if a game ends on a depressing note and kind of have this bad habit of not getting depressing endings out of my head, so I usually avoid them as if my life depends on it

Fair warning, you do have to go through quite a bit of angst over the course of the game ^^' but the MC is no quitter and the kind of person who will fight for her happiness

I expect a lot of angst from this game, so is should be okay. Maybe it is a bit darker than the things I usually play, but I think it shouldnt be too far out of my comfort zone. It would also be a change of pace to play something darker. It should be fine as long as the ending is good and it isn't flat out horror.
