What killed it for me was the constant fourth-wall breaks and just how utterly unlikable the MCs, Hazel and Jace, are. Jace is not that rude and pretentious so I could deal but Hazel? My god, the writing just forced you to be so pretentious without giving you a choice. At least Jace gets a little bit of character development, but Hazel? Nope, she just sticks with it the entire game learning nothing and being irrational. I only got to the half of my second playthrough before I uninstalled.
