Which otome game guys would you not choose in real life?

Reiji Sakamaki from "Diabolik Lovers"! I simply love him—his character development and his route—but I couldn't handle him in real life. I mean, I'd be genuinely terrified of him and how easily he could poison or incapacitate me... Not even if I were out of my mind would I choose him in real life; he's a total red flag.

Plus, I'm someone who hates pain, so if he tried to suck my blood, I'd freak out and instinctively try to punch him—which would definitely earn me a painful slap that I'd feel for the rest of the week 😭 Everyone in the Diabolik Lovers universe has trouble accepting a simple "no, I don't want you to suck my blood," so I wouldn't choose any of them in real life! But I mentioned Reiji because he's my favorite in the entire series.

I came here with Diabolik Lovers in mind, and yep, looks like plenty of people are yelling the same thing! It's an older title, but the impact of a classic is still seriously impressive. ww

honestly most of the LIs are walking red flags if you think about it too hard.
like i love the possessive yandere type in games but in real life? absolutely not. that's a restraining order waiting to happen.
the super cold guys who take forever to warm up? cute in a game but irl i'd just think they hate me and move on.
anyone who's overly dramatic or plays hot and cold all the time? yeah no thanks i don't have the energy for that.

Any type who's overly sadistic, actually hurts the mc (looking at dialovers)
I would absolutely take a yandere in real life though, i might get more obsessed than they are

I think yandere characters are an absolute no-go. Even though I love this type in games, they would be total toxic partners in real life, and you might even end up in life-threatening danger.

Probably Ace from Heart no Kuni no Alice and Nicola from Piofiore...
One of them is just a little bit too problematic and "needs to be fixed but can't be fixed" while the other I don't think I'd trust him to not cheat on me irl.

It's hard to think of specific characters off the top of my head, but I really dislike yandere and mehara types—regardless of gender. I hate them in games, let alone in real life…

I think Toma is still relatively manageable, he only resort to more extreme methods when MC refuse to listen and put herself in danger, or maybe I'm just biased and think I can fix him 😅 But yea fictional yanderes are hot, but irl would not fw any of them
Agree! I still think Yanderes are dangerous and not realistic in real life relationship, but i don't think Toma is that ..bad? and samee, i'm also heavily biased towards him because he is my favorite in amnesia haha.

aside from yandere, i would say a tsundere, i find it cute in game, but i don't think i can handle a real tsundere irl.

Right?? He even plan to free MC after everything is over (if MC really resist tho) and is prepared to be hated by her for the rest of his life. I think what makes him stand out is the process of gradually descending into madness?

I don't know if Ikki counts as a tsundere, but yea someone like him too. I understand his reason but like, can't you find another way to solve it?? I was going crazy in his route because what is wrong with this man? 😭

Definitely wouldn't choose any yanderes or red flags irl lol. Though, while I can handle friendships just fine and like to write some romance, I don't think I could actually handle any romantic relationships at all either.
