Which otome/bl game have you started and never finished?

piofiore unfortunately, just never picked up the mood to continue it. kept holding it off and just don't resonate much with the story!

Meiji Tokyo Renka, I think, I usually have a habit of pressing the button one more time to show all the text before reading it because I don't like reading text while it's running, but the game will skip to the next dialogue if I press it one more time:cry:

I dropped Charade Maniacs after playing about 4-5 routes and couldn't get myself to continue it since. The concept sounds so fun to me, but I just feel like it wasn't executed very well. Or, maybe I wouldn't feel this way if only there were a bit fewer LIs, but it is what it is:(

Charade maniacs for me too, too many love interests that didn't interest me and the story felt...lacking? I dunno it just didn't grip me sadly! I might give it another go in the future.

Sighs... I dropped Mistonia. I just couldn't get into it, I guess? It's a shame, I was really really looking forward to it, and it really seemed like something I would like. I'll come back to it one day. Maybe. (╥_╥)

Tokimemo 3. Not cause it's bad but life got in the way and I ended up never finishing all the routes

My Candy Love, not because I wasn't interested, but because those Action Points drove me crazy. Ever since I discovered that PC otome games don't have action points, I became addicted, haha.

DIABOLIK LOVERS, huh.

I bought it because I was drawn to the artist,

but the characters' personalities just didn't click with me.

Im really sad about it because I loved the music and the art but I could not for the life of me finish ozmafia. Like on paper it has everything I should love since the setting and themes are right up my alley but I just was not gelling well in any of the routes or the protaganist in any capacity and it became a huge drag for me to play. I think I perhaps played it to close to other similar games (particuarly most of the diabolik lovers series) and since I didnt like the LIs as much there wasnt to much to keep me engaged for the amount of time it wanted me to read for (Like I legit remember their being SO many routes, I think i finished like 4 and I doubt thats even half of them XD). I might one day replay it since I hate leaving games unfinished but I dont want a game to feel like a chore so ill try and forget a vast majority of it before I even try and look in its direction again XD.

lover pretend...i can never last more than 2 hours and i couldnt even start a single route...it just didnt hook me, it felt kinda bland

cupipara which makes me sad i cant finish it since almost everyone praises it sm :( i rlly dont like the greek myth thing plus its giving romcom which i hate

Bustafellows 2. I don't know what it is about the game but i just can't seem to pay attention to the story and had to restart a few times after taking a break. It's so weird considering i finished the first game with no issues.

I just couldn't find the motivation to keep going with Code: Realize. The beginning of the game just couldn't hold my attention, and I found it kind of boring.

there's alot of otomes i've started and do want to get back to, but i don't think i'll really ever continue variable barricade. i absolutely LOVE the heroine and the art is gorgeous, but i didn't really care for the plot or any of the LIs. I did nayuta's route, enjoyed it, but then couldn't be bothered to do another route

For me, it was Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk. I didn't get past the prologue.

Brother's conflict brilliant blue. I just never got around to finishing it for some reason. I think another game came out at the time and I ended up obsessing over that game instead. I do keep meaning to go back to it.

The Men of Yoshiwara Kikuya and Ohgiya - I started playing them a few years ago and I did a few routes (they are pretty short) but now looking back they were not good games, so I won't spend my time playing them anymore. (Ohgiya was better than Kikuya though)
