Which MC do you think is useless because their plot doesn't help them?

Let me explain. First, I'll give a popular example of what I consider a useless protagonist because her plot and situation don't help her at all.

In this case, it would be Yui from Diabolik Lovers. It's very common for me to read people saying that Yui is useless, that she doesn't do anything, but having played the game, I feel that Yui knows when to act. Yui is a protagonist who was abandoned by her father and sent to the Sakamaki mansion, and because of her bloodline, they're not going to let her leave in one way or another. An example of this is when Yui ends up staying with the Mukami family after being kidnapped. Also, in certain routes, she's more active than in others because the route allows it. She's more active in Shuu's or Subaru's routes than in Kanato's, where he's literally a ticking time bomb.

Another example could be Naaya from Matsurika no Kei, here the script literally goes out of its way to make Naaya a damsel in distress, I will never forget that scene where Ku Enrai tries to get her a job and she ends up getting fired from 3 jobs despite being good at them for stupid reasons.

I feel Ritsuka from Dance With Devils is similar to Yui, both are the same case to a certain degree: submissive choices are positive and bring less issues, so they adapt to the situation. Even so, sometimes stand the ground with fierce. Ritsuka goes against the demons when there's the opportunity although it doesn't work too well.

Another heroine limited by the context of her world is Yui Kusanagi from Kamigami no Asobi. She has a strong personality, will confront any figure of authority when she needs to and fight for her friends. Even if she isn't listened to and Zeus acts like an idiot, doesn't give up and think how to outsmart him instead of just accepting what he says lol. Despite not having power, I like her because she tries everything to run out of options before crying. Speaks her mind, even if everything goes wrong. A real one, I love her so much. May not consider her totally useless.
