Which is your favorite BL game theme song?

👏👏👏
Sorry for being a bit off topic, but I had the impression not a lot of people like Sweet Pool because of... reasons, so I'm genuinely so happy to see so much appreciation for it on this site. Because in terms of tragic love story, there aren't really a lot of visual novels that capture such intense emotions and desperation so well. Like, it's dread mixed with the feeling of complete trust in love which might not even be real, but is real, because you feel it and experience it, so you have to trust, because there's no forever, and if you don't believe in this feeling, what even is real... 😭
This game was life-changing, completely agree.
Yeah... It can be quite...hardcore. I love it too, even though I generally despise live-action horror! Sometimes I imagine what if it ever got an anime and what the reactions would be.
The audience ratings chart would show extreme bimodal distribution.

I really REALLY like this ost from slow damage because it's sooo melancholic and without spoiling the game the moments they usually put it in are really heart breaking and pretty mysterious making me enjoy it even me !

UGHHHHHHH If we can trick more people into playing sweet pool and change their lives for the better and ruin their lives forever, we would have done a good deed in the world. You've described the experience of playing sweet pool so, so well. They'll never do it, but also I think the story has ended at a perfect spot, but a fandisk would be so nice.

I was always shocked that they translated sweet pool first before Lamento, because sweet pool feels like it's more niche, or the barrier of entry and to enjoy it is a great deal higher than Lamento. Like, how many people are okay with body horror, the og omegaverse, mpreg flesh blobs, exploding beta (fishes), cults, eye licking, losing your other half forever because they disappeared from your window still one day vs CAT BOYS.

That would be... something!! 😆 I can't even imagine it to be honest haha.
Although, I guess it would depend on how well-adapted it would be... If it's a second dmmd, even fans will hate it 😅

RIGHT?? I also was so surprised.
It doesn't make any sense how they've read everything you described on some meeting when they had to decide what to translate, and went: yeah, we'll go with the first option! 😆
But I guess I'm glad they did, because I feel like it really boosted the novel's popularity.

DMMD the anime was still miles better than the Togainu no Chi one! N+C is just unlucky when it comes to anime adaptations. Although it would be so much easier in the case of Sweet Pool, since the story is more linear and Tetsuo-centric.

On the topic of music - the OST from the DMMD anime was so disappointing. I wish they had used some tracks from the game, at least.
:boys2_wink:
For a fandisc, re:connect has amazing tracks:
