Where do you usually get news about upcoming drama CDs and situation CDs?

I usually keep up with drama CD news on X (Twitter). Sometimes I also check DLsite or the companies' official websites, but I mostly find updates on X :)

Oh, so you mainly get your updates from X (Twitter)! Who do you usually follow? For example, companies, voice actors, retailers, or someone else?
My only concern is that if I follow too many accounts, I'll end up seeing the same news over and over, and my timeline will get so busy that I might actually miss important updates.

I usually follow the circles I like. If I really enjoy a certain series or a voice actor, I'll keep up with their releases. I don't follow every single drama CD—just the ones that match my interests. I also follow voice actors on social media because they often share updates about their work. Sometimes I even discover new circles through the voice actors I follow. :)

That makes sense! I think that's a really good approach.
I still haven't found any doujin circles that I really like yet, so I'm not very familiar with the scene. I've mainly been listening to commercial CDs up until now.
I think I'll take this opportunity to find some circles that match my tastes and start keeping up with their new releases!

I follow the X (Twitter) accounts of voice actors and production companies to get updates, and combine that with DLsite's tracking feature to follow my favorite voice actors. This way, the system notifies me whenever a new work they are voicing is released or open for preorder.

That sounds like a great system! I think it works really well if you already have favorite voice actors.
By the way, do you ever try discovering new voice actors, or do you mostly stick with the ones you already like?

There's a wiki for that kind of thing, so I'm looking it up there.
There are lots of categories, so it's easy to find what I like, and there's also info on new releases.
It's just a shame that minor works aren't listed.

I mostly stick with the voice actors I already like, such as Mitsuhashi Wataru and Fuyuno Kumaniku. However, since I follow production companies on X, I occasionally pick voice dramas based on the cover art (like a blind buy). That's actually how I accidentally discover new talent! In fact, that's how I found Tominaga Shuhei, and now he's one of my absolute favorites.🥰

I assume you mean the commercial CD wiki? I use it too! It's really convenient.
If there's a wiki for doujin CDs as well, I'd love to know about it.

That makes sense! It's very reasonable.
Sounds great!

I usually follow some of my favorite official websites and search, also I will follow the news from the Twitter
That's nice. Official sources are definitely the most reliable.
By Twitter (X) news, do you mean individual accounts that compile release information, like accounts that aggregate announcements?

Nice, thanks for your comment!
Is there actually a roundup site somewhere? If possible, I'd really appreciate it if you could share the URL in a non-clickable format.
If you meant "curated posts" on X (Twitter) and similar platforms, then hmm… I might start to worry about whether I'm really catching all the information. That's because people usually filter things by their favorite voice actors or specific settings.

Sorry for the late reply! 🙏 You're completely right—individual tweets on X (Twitter) definitely tend to be biased based on personal preferences.

What I actually meant last time was a two-dimensional community platform officially run by DLsite called "DL Channel." 💬 In their roundup (matome) section, many Japanese fans compile very comprehensive info on BL ASMR and doujin voice works, making it much harder to miss out on anything! 🙌 The URL is here: ch.dlsite.com/matome

Just a heads-up, since I mostly listen to BL ASMR, my focus is a bit narrow, but I hope this helps you out! :P ✨

Not at all, thank you for your reply!
I wasn't aware that a community like this existed. Thank you for letting me know!
I'm a bit overwhelmed by the number of posts and have been wandering around the site, not sure what to look at, but I hope I'll get used to it eventually.
