When you first got into otome games, who was your favorite character, and who’s your favorite now?

When I first got into otome games, my favorite was Ryutaro Wakatsuki from Otometeki Koi Kakumei ★ Love Revo!!. I think I liked him because he was one of the only adult characters among the students (along with the MC's brother). His smooth, easygoing charm was just so good.

My current favorite is Gou Shiiba from Blackish House, who's basically the complete opposite of Ryutaro — more of an awkward, flustered guy around women. That's probably why I also really love Kent from Amnesia: Memories lol.

What about you guys? Has your favorite character type changed completely like mine did?

Since I played both Blood in Roses and Wizardess Heart at the same time, I had two favorites back then: this vampire here called Alfred:

Both tsunderes. Apparently, my taste for tsunderes hasn't changed because nowadays my favorite character is Sasazuka Takeru ╮⁠(⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠)⁠╭

Oh, I think I get what you mean! You definitely have a consistent type haha. And yeah, all three of them are the kind of characters that just pull you in the more you see them. The slow-burn charm is real.

I think one of the Li's that drew me to otome games was Ukyo, and I still love him very much to this day.

And these days my favorite is Dorothy from Over Requiemz, he's so . And I find it really funny how they're both yanderes with long hair. Maybe it's a type?

I think when I first got into it I wasn't even aware what either Otome or VN even is... Defenily was big on 'caring and sweet' guys back then and now too tho!

My funniest otome game taste change was in Amnesia hahaha I used to hate Toma with a burning passion and Shin was one of my favorite LIs ever when I first played.

But nowadays Toma is one of my favorite LIs and I still love Shin but not that much anymore lmaaooo

I went from Ayato to Reiji hahaha Ayato is still one of my favorites but my type nowadays is more Reiji or Yuma

Earliest favorite I can remember is Van Helsing from Code Realize and nowadays it's Tyril from Even If Tempest and Sasazuka from CxM.
(hard to pick just one as my current fave haha)

The first character I ever fell in love with was Lupin from *Code Realize*. When I was younger, I really loved Kid the Phantom Thief from *Detective Conan*, so Lupin, who reminded me of him, seemed really cool to me. Right now, it's Dorothy from *Over Requiem*. I really liked that character in the Dark Route.

That's where I met my new obsession
My passion and obsession was ignited for Kisaki Tougo and he became my favorite LI since then.

Although I must say, ever since I just finished Olympia Soiree Sequel a few weeks ago. I can't get Himuka out of my head. It has rly made my love for him grow even more So I do have doubts about who my favorite LI at the moment is but you get the point! I love LIs who are obsessed with the MC.

When I first got into otome, I was obsessed to 707 and to this day I love him. More recently, I'm very partial to Akaza from Olympia Soiree!

I liked Shin from Amnesia and Tokiya from Utapri sooooooo badly! But now my #1 main guy is Caleb from Love and Deepspace, he fits the kind of yandere trope I like. Always there and willing to do anything to support you, but will take anyone out who is a threat to you lol.

I honestly don't remember who my first favourite character in otome games was, but i believe it was someone mischievous, dramatic and funny... maybe even a yandere

The earliest one I do remember is probably Zen from Mystic Messenger

But soon after I got into otome genre my taste drastically changed and every single time I see a quiet, scowling, unemotional kuudere I fall in love instantly, and there's nothing I can do about it
I can't decide who my favorite character is right now because I love all my awkward, stoic kuuderes equally

Ahhh, hmmm. Tough for me because I have so many favourite LIs now! My first favourite was Mitarashi from Sweet Fuse, and now my favourite might be Shiraishi from Collar x Malice (it's so hard to choose!). I would say that in general I used to prefer tsundere LIs when I was younger, always interested in their routes first, but as time has gone on I do prefer himbo LIs more (I know Mitarashi wasn't a tsundere, and Shiraishi isn't a himbo, but I'm just talking in general lol).

You must be my twin because Kuroyuki is the reason I became obssessed with yandere characters. And Kisaki-senpai is literally my favourite
