What's your very first Otome game?

My first game was Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 1!
The Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side series always holds a special place in my heart

The first was Diabolik Lovers. I loved Subaru in the anime and wanted to know what his route was like, lol. But what really interested me was Black Wolves Saga. Those cats are truly traumatic, but I loved the art style and all the characters except the cats, lol. My second otome game, but for me it's the first, since unlike DL, I actually played both games and all the routes of this one (ᵔ◡ᵔ)

My first otome games were Heart of Melon (I don't know if it counts as an otome game LOL) and also Mystic Messenger, a cousin recommended them to me. These sparked my interest in this type of story 🎀

My very first English translated otome was Sweet Fuse: At Your Side 💣. I did every route, which I rarely do these days, lol. tbh i cant remember my very first one since it was so long ago but i used to use machine translation. Omg it used to be so bad but i still enjoyed the older games.

I read the manga for the Alice and the Country series first (haha) but I was never able to get my hands on the game.

Mobile Otomes are just a lot more accessible, so my first was Mystic Messenger! Waiting for the messages, and then getting confused why I could never get pass Day 4. I ended up searching up guides, and that's been my playstyle ever since.

My first is Amnesia:Memories, I actually didn't intend to specifically play otome game at that time, I just need something to read offline, but not a book (since my parent cut off the internet so that I can focus on my studying), and after some searching I know about visual novel, maybe the me at that time found that the dating element is interesting and, went for it, I didn't remember the details since it was more than 10 years ago.

And it was one of the most valid choices in my life.

I believe my first must've been either amnesia or hakuoki.
I started off with reverse harem anime, realized i already watched most of them and needed more, found out most of them were based of games, then i got the games so i could experience the full story/routes of other characters i liked more than the main li.

Mine is RF : Alistair 🥰 and if u count farming simulator with cute guys as an otome-ish game, then Harvest Moon more friends of mineral town (Gray my beloved) is also one of my first game with romance element, back when i dont even know the genre exist. Starry sky series, and Arcana Famiglia also one of my few first otome games, back when we used machine tl, hooked the text and atlas, where the tl isn't that great, but yea, i enjoyed it a lot, and its very memorable because the effort i put into finishing one story. also back then i used to camp on renpy forums and looking for indie otome games, watching them from being ongoing till its being released, patiently. and one of my favorites, is frozen essence 😍 i was bawling my eyes on one of the guy's route, i have a soft side for a story that can makes me cry 😔🤌 i mean, i don't even like him, but his route was so so sad, he become my favorite instead.

The first otome game I played was Are You Alice on the PSP. After that, I watched the Hakuoki anime, and it really caught my interest. So I looked into the series, played several of the games, and ended up loving it. Since then, I've played lots of other otome games too. :)

I think the first one I actually played was one of pacthesis's flash games. For commercial games, I think it was either Amnesia or an English patch of one of the TMGS games.

My first otome game was Amnesia. I played blind at first and kept hitting bad ends, then used guides to clear all routes. It's the game that got me into otome.:sneaky:

My very first otome game was DYNAMIC CHORD feat.Liar-S.I first stumbled into the fandom because I was already listening to honeybee's drama CD series, Starry☆Sky. While following the brand, I happened to come across this game. On top of that, I really liked the art style of the illustrator, Ryo Fujiwara.Ultimately, what truly drove me to play the game was the visuals, the voice acting, and the music. The absolute final blow was the lead vocalist, Sakura Hiyama, voiced by Takuma Terashima. The combination of Ryo Fujiwara's gorgeous character design, their amazing songs, and Terashima-san's deep, captivating voice was exactly why I decided to dive into it!
