What's your very first Otome game?

Prob either Amnesia or X Note. I can't remeember. I really liked the idea of psychic powers in X Note

My first one was Amnesia Memories on PC, I first discovered otome in 2017. I've played several otome since then but Amnesia will always be my #1, no matter what other people think of it. If it weren't for that game being ported to PC I would never have known otome was a thing, much less a whole fandom. ^^"

I like all that is related to fantasy (books, games) so I stumbled on the Otome term while searching for romance mods for Baldur Gate 2 (back in 2016) . My opinion is that even if its an RPG game it is a bit weird to finish an entire game without developing "relationships" with your party members. I mean in the game world you are risking life and limb for an epic quest and at the end your party has very little to talk about. But I digress, so here I was looking at various mods when someone mentioned the Otome games. I did not know what the term meant then so I searched again and I stumbled upon Hakouki and I thought why not give it a try. I mean it had almost everything I like (sword battles, demons). The first route I played was Okita (I don't know, in this role Morikubo Shotaro sounds like a big cat :) and it was so interesting listening to him). I did not know Japanese back then so you can say I like listening to him.
In the Hakouki however I fell in love with Kazama route and when I read about the Drama CD I started looking for a drama CD with Tsuda Kenjiro and my first Drama CD was Kurayami Gatari Youen Ibun. That one was scary :)
You can say that Otome Games were the last catalyst for me to start learning Japanese.

My very first otome game was My Candy Love, I play it since 2017 but abandoned it soooo many times, I finished HSL only this year lol
As for the not online ones, I think my first was Diabolik Lovers and I loved every second of it. Thinking about it, it's very strange that the first vn that made me fall in love with otome game world is the one I now hate the most...

My first otome game was Be My Princess by Voltage. I don't remember how I found it, but since I liked anime, it caught my attention.

Amnesia: Memories. It's an otome game that has a fan translation in my native language, so I decided to give it a try. I have to say, it's pretty surprising shock in some routes, but somehow it's still funny lol (Ikki and his fangirls, Kent and his math questions (I hate math), Toma and his dog cage, Ukyo and his obsession, and Shin… he's my cute little angel haha). The art is really beautiful, so overall it was a pretty solid start.

Date Warp.
I was in highschool when I found its demo. At the time, I thought that it was the most amazing thing I've ever seen.
Linds is the best!

cindrella phenomon i played as 13 years old , but i always will remeber diabolik lovers dearly lol

I have been playing otomes for what feels like forever my first ever was from the Shall We Date brand; Ninja love ❤️

I'm pretty sure my first was one of the SWD games.. either Ninja Love or Angel or Devil. I did play em at around the same time.

First one was Amnesia Memories on Steam (btw be careful guys, I thought the version would include the original Japanese subs and UI, but I was wrong T-T; a bit sad, cause I have bought it for the purpose of learning Japanese)

Probably my first one was tokimemo gs. Not really sure but I think that's the old one I can remember... I specially remember my first play of that being specially tragic as I didn't know what I was doing, I tried to go for the boy that the friend liked and that resulted on my mc losing her friend and her potential boyfriend....

first full game was Amnesia, before that tried Dandelion but didn't like the ending

I can't remember. I think I played some flash games many years ago. The graphics was not really good, story was very...simple... but I was mostly intrigued by the idea that there were games we can date guys. Reflecting on it now, short and simple games had their own charm that helped attract a lot of people. It is quite sad the flash era is over.

I played and downloaded Cinderella Phenomenon as my first Otome game around when it was released when I was younger. Not sure how good it would be now if I replayed it, but it got me into the medium of Otome games specifically, so I guess I'm glad I tried it.

If we count mobage probably ikemen sengoku, if not mobage probably hakuoki steam ver., i think

It's either re:alistair or x-note for indie. For commercial one it's Starry Sky in Spring ><

I feel old, my first if I'm correct was Sweet Fuse: At Your Side, gosh 2013 and on the PSP. I miss those consoles

My very first otome game was Norn9. The story, a mix of sci-fi, mystery, and multiple character perspectives, really pulled me in. It set my standard for what I enjoy in otome games strong plot combined with emotional depth.
