Tbh, I've been literally obsessed with it since late September of 2025...
I really enjoyed the game, but I still have very mixed feelings about it. The whole game felt kinda short because of the two routes. The same story is told by two different characters, and due to that a lot of scenes repeat, but it sure was an interesting experience, considering the fact that most of the vns don't have such feature.
The in-game cgs sometimes look pretty weird. I absolutely adore Norizane's art and her characters, but lessons art looks really inconsistent. By "inconsistent", I mean that characters always have different proportions and facial features in every cg, and it always catches my eye. And just the anatomy can be pretty fucked up sometimes. I guess that it's because the characters were also designed such way to attract both male and female audience and Norizane is kinda bad at drawing buff men.
I've also read a lot of reviews from fujoshis and twitter, and people were either calling this game peak or saying that it's dogshit because of the plot-twist in the beginning of Yoshino's route and lack of romance. But that's parade – the company that, instead of making a cute lovey-dovey story about gay men, puts them in the most awful situations, so I genuinely don't know what they expected from lesson – especially knowing parade and their previous works.
Overall, I really enjoyed the game, characters, story and art, despite their obvious flaws. Just the themes that plot conveys are really close to me. Even though the game is really dark, Yoshino and Kento's interactions were really cute and they sure both are very moe, despite being grown men. I have a feeling that parade probably could've done something better and longer, but due to deadlines couldn't. However, the final game is still really good.
I hope Mangagamer localizes it soon, and that parade releases an artbook or a fandisc.
