What's was your first otome game and how did you find it ?

My first otome game was DIABOLIK LOVERS, recommended by a good friend, and later I fell in love with otome games!

I don't know if these count as otome since they're indie/western but I'll just attached it here.

Found and played these OGs back in my DeviantArt era. They were made by Pacthesis. Dang, how time flies ( ._.)

I've been playing mobile games for as long as I can remember, so I started with Genius.inc games from the Play Store xd. It wasn't until I got older that I discovered a bigger world with Diabolik Lovers.

The second reproduction. I liked watching reverse harem animes (which were often otome game adaptations) and searched for eng translated otomes. Then, I found it while browsing fuwanovel, back when you could download games on their site.

maaan I can't remember, but I believe my first Otome games were the Android ones 🤔
I'm an avid x reader fics enjoyer and DeviantArt has a lot of those. so when I discovered games like Episodes and Choices, I naturally gravitate to it lmaoo but I didn't wanna play them at first, so instead I take a look at the recommendation section Google Play gave me and saw OKKO games and was like 'ok that's my jam'

I think I spent like, idk, months playing free-to-play Otome games made by company like OKKO and Arithmetic, with some Renpy games, before I discovered how to emulate PSP and NDS games and played more Otoges like Hakuoki and TMGS lol

My first one was Brothers Conflict. I watched the anime, really liked it, and decided to try the game.

The first time I learn there is an otome game genre is La Corda d'Oro (金色のコルダ) as I was reading the manga and the anime but I had never played any of the game because I don't have PSP. My first played otome game is starry sky. Someone recommended this game at a forum that a lot of popular seiyuu voice act in this game and it is pc game with translation so I tried to play it and get interested in playing more otome game...

it was a japanese game choosing between two guys in the modern era i think but there was a twist in the story and it made the game really interesting
homicipher was also one the games i played at the start and it was really fun

My first game was one of those Shall We Date games that were removed afterwards , I think it was Destiny Ninja 2. But I didn't really play it, I just liked looking at the LIs frames and using them as reference for drawing back then lol. Now, the games that really got me hooked were Blood in Roses and Wizardess Heart (I checked the Play Store now and I can't find them, did they remove them too?! ヽ((◎д◎))ゝ when did that happen??) I remember my avatar was so cute with a lot of dresses from events and I had completed most of the routes in both games, but I ended up losing my account when I changed phones at the time and then I had to start all over again, which led me to gradually abandon the game. That's when I discovered MysMe and other games like Amnesia Memories and Hakuoki before the otome games on DS and PSP.

I don't remember my first, but the first one that actually sticks out in my memory is Mystic Messenger. Since it's free, the choices actually matter in the game, and despite its messing up my schedule... I like 707 a lot TvT

This would be basic but I think my first otome game was Mystic Messengers. But back then I didn't even know it was an Otome LOLL

I'm not completely sure how it happened first, but I know that I probably played amnesia first ^^. At the time I didnt understand english , and had to translate everything word to word. After that I had a big break and found EVEN if Tempest, and that motivated me to play more games. I started to learn Japanese because of a few games, and now I'm broke collecting them physically :ROFLMAO:

My first otome game was Love Revo! back in the Nintendo DS days.
It had stat-raising elements, which made it really fun to play.
Whenever I feel nostalgic, I sometimes take out my old DS and play it again.

Re: Alistair. I just scrolled site with unofficial translation vns and it was among many others i tried.

i can't remember exactly it had to be a voltage game since i love trying game on the app store, when they used to release the stories in many apps before putting them in one app. either the folk-tale based one or the older idol one, it just unfold from there. that and watching playthroughs, my proper console game one was probably amnesia!

The first otome game I played was "Butterfly Poison." At the time, I didn't know it was an 18+ game.

I remember that Noise - Voice of Snow - was the first Otome game I encountered and the last ending was impressive.

"Frozen Essence" by UnbrokenHours and the deviantart Pacthesis games were my first! I think the first Pacthesis I played was the Alice in Wonderland themed game? It changed my brain chemistry lol

EDIT: It's literally in a comment above omg!! Wonderland Days my beloved

Diabolik Lovers! Primeiro descobri através do anime, depois encontrei os jogos e fiquei completamente obcecado. Eu costumava jogá-los em japonês com a ajuda de tradução automática e algumas traduções feitas por fãs.

Pretty sure it was one of Rinmaru game. Back then I didn't speak english, so it was quite difficult to understand what was going on, but i do remember that the first one I bought was amnesia memories on steam!
