What's the pettiest reason you've ever disliked an otome character?

I don't like characters that are indecisive and selfish, or just go with the flow personalities. I am a bit serious type who follow a moral within myself and values that I care about. In even reality or otome game, I cannot stand a guy who are indecisive in general. I am worry that they still want to approach relationships but does not know how to works because he is scared or debating with another girls. Idk, its like my gut feeling that those guys are not reliable at all. I saw that in some anime, one guy is indecisive and two girls are trying to win him. He does know how to build stronge relationship and end up going for both. Those types of guys can be a cheater while I learn my lesson through anime and a bit traumatized. Of course, selfishness is a nono, they cannot understand female lead feeling and treat her like object. So its always back in my brain if some characters in otome game that share same traits.

Design!! Man I forgot his name, but that red haired guy with the dumb open coat and knives strapped on it and nothing else! Also his demented little expression
and terrible writing/route overall imo
. He had everything going for him: Kuroyuki's art, CV. Umehara Yuuichirou, it's a game set in a game, dude could dress however he wanted and he chose THAT!

Because they look like a child ... Orlok and Mathis as examples. And also claude from overreq because his va is saitama and ever since i learned that information i can't get saitama's face out of my head everytime claude shows up on my screen.

Sometimes there's a voice I just really don't like, and turning off voices doesn't help because I can still hear it in my head.

Also when a character is sunshine and rainbows all the time.

Yess I think there's a difference between a character who's genuinely struggling with his feelings and one who just refuses to make a decision and ends up hurting everyone involved. I can understand being confused about your feelings at first, but when a guy keeps leading multiple girls on because he can't make up his mind, it gets frustrating to watch. And I agree about selfish characters too! It's hard to root for a romance when the guy doesn't even consider the heroine's feelings. I need my LIs to be someone I can actually trust and rely on!
