What's the pettiest reason you've ever disliked an otome character?

This might sound ridiculous, but have you ever disliked an otome character for the most insignificant reason?

Not because they did anything terrible or had a poorly written route, but something completely random like their hairstyle, the way they talk, or even a facial expression they make.

Sometimes I feel like I judge fictional men more harshly than real people

What's the most unreasonable reason you've ever disliked a love interest? No judgment here!

Direttore from Piofiore. I hate how Tachibana-san delivers his lines with this character.

I don't know, it's just annoying and I really want to yank his hair every time he appears lmao but I do love Henri, so it's definitely just the way he talks.

HAHA I love how specific this is the way a character talks can honestly make such a difference. It's hard to get past because you have to listen to them for so much of the game, so I don't even think this is that unreasonable Was there a particular line that annoyed you or is it just whenever he opens his mouth?

Honestly I would say sylus from lads I didn't like him even when he shown as love interest his vibe felt very mediocre "I'm older guy shouldn't be with" have alot of money i just didn't really like him when he released

I definitely hate every time he talks lol, but it's even worse when he says 'signorina' in that specific tone. It literally sends a physical shiver down my spine, and not the good kind.

It's Ichiya from Variable Barricade, and I couldn't stand his trademark background music He (probably) wasn't a bad person, but combo of the sound of his theme with his overall personality was so bad I mostly skipped his lines.

I had a hard time with Rafayel from Love and Deepspace because his personality reminded me too much of my younger brother

The biggest reason why I don't like a character is usually because the male lead has a beloved person before the female lead and treats her as a substitute. I cannot accept such game plots. I will give up on this male lead. I can basically accept all other types of reasons.

I hate Dante Falzone's route—and, by extension, Dante Falzone himself—because his route is boring; Liliana would go into exhaustive detail about how she prepared her Italian desserts, and I was already fed up with it.

the last LI that rlly annoyed me was wataru from him, the smile and bloom, god knows how i survived his route his voice is sooo annoying just hollering all over the place i got a headache

For me, its any character voiced by Daisuke Hirakawa and its a really petty reason I have to admit. Back in like fourth grade I unfortunately watched the dialover anime(IN THE LIVING ROOM TV ) with no idea what it was about, it was just "ooh pretty art!" *click* And as you can imagine, it was NOT a good time I was horrified especially by that one church(?) scene with laito. Anyways, because Daisuke Hirakawa's voice is way too recognizable, I end up judging characters he voices a lot more harshly and dislike them(they scare me) until they turn out to be likeable. (No hate to the VA ofc)
