What's an otome trope you will never get tired of?

It's not the otome specific trope, but villain romance. Not in a "I can make him better" type of way, but in a "He is trash, but he is my trash".

I really enjoy teacher LIs when the game is in a school setting.

I loved Hakuoki SSL because Hijikata is my fave character and he's a teacher in that game (ꈍᴗꈍ)♡
Other teachers I like are Himuro from Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side and Nami from Re: Birthday song.

Yandere otome trope will always hit for me. In IRL it's definitely creepy AF but when it's just in doujin or in AMSR it's like crack to me lmao.

For me, there are a few types:
1. Scenes where the heroine and the love interest support each other and grow together through difficult circumstances, or slowly spiral downward together, always leave a lasting impression on me.

2. When either the heroine or the love interest loses their memory,
and they have to readjust to each other and get to know each other again.
The way both sides cautiously test the waters, observe each other's reactions,
and try to read each other is very intriguing to me.
(But this only works if the writer actually puts thought into giving this process different nuances and flavors, rather than handling the amnesia in a simplistic and rushed way...)

3. Every time I see a heroine with a really sharp wit unleash her ultimate sarcasm, it's incredibly satisfying.

I like misunderstandings, like when character who tries really hard at something or generally takes actions to be a helpful and decent human being is misunderstood by another character and is looked down on, mistreated, or hated.

Specifically, I like it when the second character realizes their mistake and comes to an realization that they've destroyed any chance of ANYTHING with the first character because they wouldn't listen.

I dunno. Something about a character destroying something beautiful (friendship, relationship, whatever) with their own hands because of their own ignorance - that moment where they get gut-punched and realize, "Oh, I was wrong" followed by "I can fix this" followed by "I CAN'T fix this." It's strangely satisfying.

I like the childhood sweethearts turning into lovers trope. Nothing beats that kind of mutual deep affection!

I looooove enemies to lovers, tsunderes and kuuderes. The way they can go from antagonistic and emotionally distant to being a blushing mess is so cute! Or when they just decide to throw caution to the wind and try to act all suave, I love seeing that gap from their initial impression.

I also like childhood friends to lovers, but I usually feel bad in otomes because these characters are usually in love with the heroine even in other routes 😭

A lot of the ones I like have been listed in here (yanderes, enemies to lovers, childhood friends to lovers) but I'll add the gap moe(if thats the right phrase for it) LIs, ones that you wouldn't think would be interested in mc, but fall in love with them anyway. Also, "tough, evil/tsundere what have you LI that only has a soft spot for the heroine", I love cheese like that lol

I like the love-hate relationship or bickering duo. there has to be some kind of conflict. That kind of plot is usually not boring

I love the trope of a super clingy boyfriend who has a bit of a *tsundere* or *yandere* side. It also really excites me when male voice actors in R18 otome audio dramas mimic the female character's moans.
