What type of otome character do you prefer?

I like soft yandere and dandere. Sometimes i like tsundere like Collar x Malice Sasazuka. Always avoid playboys, yangiri and yandere who trying to kill/hurt MC.

I love yandere characters the most! I used to like tsunderes, now it depends... I like Finis (Code Realize) and Alice (Taisho x Alice), others not so much. I don't like kuudere and avoid yangire and playboys.

Yanderes and Tsunderes.
But I hate characters who are overly polite and flirt too sweetly.
(I simultaneously love and hate—to the very depths of my soul—the character archetypes of all the *Pigeon Blood* ROs. Apologies—I know this isn't an otome, but I just couldn't help myself!)

Ngl, I'm obsessed with the playboy trope. There's something so satisfying about them approaching the MC casually at first, but then slowly getting genuinely attached lmao. And can we talk about their character designs? They're always so pretty. On the other hand, the types that abuse the MC or manipulate situations just to possess them aren't really my thing... like those mastermind characters. It's just a bit too heavy for me.

I definitely have a type — and white hair is at the top of the list! 💕
Give me a handsome guy with silver or white hair, long or short, and I'm already interested.
Add a cool, mysterious personality — or better yet, a soft interior hidden behind a cold exterior — and I'm sold. 😊

I absolutely love Yandere! Soft or not.

(Although I don't like it when they kill the MC, they're playboys, which doesn't make sense to me; I prefer when they kidnap, drug, and stuff like that.)

I love the fact that they're obsessed with the MC. ε(´。•᎑•`)っ Bonus points if the MC is also a Yandere!

  • Kuudere are good too, but when there's nothing more to it, it can get bland and then I get bored. (•_•)
  • Tsundere are my enemies, I hate them with all my might. Stay away. ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

I really love yandere guys and other complicated types! I also love older brothers and younger brothers.
I guess I'm not really into characters with long hair. But that depends on their personality, too, lol.

I like yanderes and tsunderes. I like tsunderes because it's very funny how they swallow their own words or insults towards the protagonist or how they try to deny their feelings for her. That said, I like the change they have; for me, the tsundere route has to show that character evolution.

Strangely the more I love otomes the more I'm drawn to the comedic relief/easy going characters like
collar x malice: mineo enomoto Code realize: impey barbicane that I can think off the top of my head.
I'm also a big fan of tsunderes like Collar x Malice : Sasazuka. I very much dislike yandere's especially when it is poorly written and just comes off as creepy…

The characters themselves dont really matter, if a character crazily love the heroine it will put a very strong impression on people, and an excellent voice acter makes them even more attractive.

I enjoy a yandere who doesn't inflict physical harm on MC.

Manipulation? YES, (´,,•ω•,,)♡ I am totally game for it.

Physical violence towards others is a tentative okay, I much prefer the alluding to it than actually seeing or hearing the acts.

Given the choices, I probably prefer tsundere less just because kuudere usually feels like an accomplisment when you finally get that cool guy to show his warm side (but if he stays cool no matter what? pass.) ( ◡‿◡ )

Not very original but I love yanderes (especially when they're older brothers lmao)! I really like angst, and I love seeing an LI acting all desperate and crazy about the MC ;)

I believe it can explore some interesting dynamics and developments, like dealing with whether the LI is truly in love with the MC or if it's just some type of attachment towards her. If the MC was previously in love with him but and gets scared when she learns about his yandere tendencies, it introduces all kinds of angsty and depressing sides to their relationship, like feeling that she was deceived by the LI the whole time! And of course, the more possessive scenes are very fun to read! Haha

An older brother yandere is even better, as it shows his increasingly unhinged behavior being either because of the forbidden nature of his love towards the MC, or some sort of toxic codependency he developed with her! All sorts of deliciously messy dynamics... I love the drama lmao

As for one I dislike (though I wouldn't say I hate it), kuudere. Not a surprise at all, since I love messy and desperate characters, it makes sense that closed off LIs are not my type lol
Many games take their sweet time actually getting the kuudere to open up and be honest about their feelings ;b

I have been pleasantly surprised by some kuudere characters before though, so it's more a slight distaste than full on dislike for them!
