What type of LI's do you go for?

I like blushy Tsunderes and usually go for them first cause they feel safe as the first route.

I often target characters who appear gentle, refined, or very chivalrous on the outside but whose inner personality is entirely different from their outward appearance.

I like storylines that always have unexpected plot twists, so characters like that usually meet my needs.

The type who's aloof or annoyed like they woke up on the wrong side of the bed every morning. Watching them fall in love is quite funny. And the crazies, like yanderes. I like nice guys in real life but in fiction I need need that thrill.

I always end up falling for characters who are gentle, cheerful, and kind of like a loyal puppy — as well as the mysterious, human-hating, red-flag types. And also those who are willing to give up their life for me, or live on for my sake. I long to live together with them — and sometimes, even to die together. The ones who fascinate me the most are Yves and Ankou from Virche.

I am drawn to characters who appear cold and aloof on the outside but are not like that on the inside. I enjoy watching the process of such characters gradually opening their hearts and becoming close.

like those who are seductive and fun, but I also really like those who are serious and mysterious.😭🎀

When I was younger, it was the tsundere, but now I love himbos, or the big brother type. I still like tsunderes, though!

Childhood friends/best friends, tsunderes, and funny guys. I also like the type of character who's loud and a bit dumb, but has a heart of gold. In general, it depends on the game.

Being biased i usually go for the characters with my fave seiyuu or the tsundere genki type, but it really depends alot on the characters design the seiyuu behind the characters and even the lore and what represents the character, since not being a fan of possessive characters or yanderes in general i surprisingly loved kuroyuki from nightshade even after what he did…

My ideal type is Neil from the bl game Shingakkou———seemingly carefree on the surface, but actually thoughtful and considerate, both humorous and caring.

Yandere, if there's none, I usually go for LIs with specific qualities like long haired (lol), androgynous, devoted, cocky, seductive, manipulative, kuudere, himbo, and humorous types. Ngl, the list goes on, tho those are the main types I often enjoy.

Mature, understanding older characters with life experience are really attractive.
I also like the observant, thoughtful type—it's a total strike zone for me.
I'm drawn to characters who, even after losing someone important,
still cherish the people around them and live well, rather than hurting everything in their path.
Or those who, despite having been betrayed, are willing to keep sharpening their mind and inner judgment, constantly learning from experiences, instead of shutting themselves off from trusting others.
That kind of courage and resilience is really impressive.

I tend to fall for LIs who feel genuinely mature, thoughtful, and emotionally intelligent. I really like characters who have some depth to the way they think, a nuanced worldview, and a good attitude toward other people.

Honestly, that type of character can get me in almost any game. I don't necessarily need a specific trope like "cold" or "playful" as long as the character feels like a mature, well-rounded person with some wisdom behind them.

And if that kind of character turns out to be a side character who isn't romanceable? I will be genuinely devastated. It hurts even more when you can clearly see the potential and the game just says, "Nope. You can't have him."

I love the sweet, clingy, and affectionate types who get a bit jealous

Without a doubt, Yandere is my favorite right now, but I also like the affectionate type.

When I was young, my favorite LI is always kind and posion guy! For example, Vampire Knight Kaname is always an example of LI for me. He is kind, caring, and it comes with a posion from his obsession from out of love. But to other people, he just mean and treat them bad. For female lead, its always kind and caring. I love those guys when they appear in Manhwa or Manga. But is rare to see in Manga because I think everyone like Tsundere and Kuudere. I love how a person show their love is too much and posion. Kaya. I love LI that similar to Kaname.

I don't really know if there's an exact archetype or personality of an LI that I usually end up liking since I think my faves have their distinct personalities and appearances that don't overlap with each other

But I'd say that I end up being down bad for the yearners 😆 I find them so endearing because of how much they pine for MC and it's especially fun to see how pathetic (comedic or angsty, could go either way) they could get just to get her affection
