I feel like my hobbies are all over the place, but I seem to only focus on one at a time on hardcore mode while leaving the others behind or else my brain makes me want to explode, pretty much. Like, I'll be doing one thing for 3 months non stop, then I will not do it at all for 3 other months if my brain decided I'll be focusing on another hobby instead. Makes it very inconvenient to catch up with media I'm into in general.
I've been reading books on and off (mostly off... but I'm slowly trying to chip away at the books I want to finish), I listen to music other than the 2-3 albums I spin in loop when I remember that I have a music archive I want to tend to, and I watch shows. Once in a blue moon I also write and draw stuff.
Lately I've been watching a lot of shows because it's the easy option when I'm low on energy. I've gone on a binge of cooking-related shows. For example, this summer I ate up the entirety of Kitchen Nightmares (UK & US, but also my country's edition). Then I moved onto Chopped and regional cooking shows. When I turn on my TV it's just to watch other cooking shows. I'm not even that much of a cook so by all means watching all of those cooking shows won't enhance my personal life, but hey, it's fun. Similarly, I went on a brief drag show binge because I'm trying to have a personal archive of drag shows to watch and rewatch.
I'm also big on buddy watches. Right now I'm buddy watching Dragula and Ultraman Leo with a friend. Might sound a bit jarring to alternate between a drag show and Showa era tokusatsu, but that's what friends are about.
I also try to watch anime at times, but really, most of the time I only have the energy to catch up with Chiikawa because it's become my comfort anime at this point. I love those little critters so much.
