What kind of personality would you like to see more of in otome heroines?

I'm honestly up for any type of personality for MCs beyond the nice/sweet MC. Give me an actual personality, whether it be brazen, tsundere, shy, argumentative, take your pick!

I'd love to see MC who not just cute clumsy, but actually witty, sarcastic, or even chaotic! While it's not neccessary, some character development to her aside from romance aspect would be nice too.

The element I look for in a heroine is a tsundere personality, but I want her to be portrayed carefully so that she doesn't come across as selfish or violent. Even if her actions stem from her being conscious of the hero, I find it difficult to accept excessively harsh insults or violence.

more menhera heroines!!!!!!!!!!! i want a heroine who is mentally unstable and it impacts all her relationships, both romantic or not!!!!!!!!!! i want her to suffer while battling her own demons in her own head!!!!!!!!!!!! i already mentioned it in another thread, but i want someone like hidari (from mekutoki, a doujin "otome"), yuuna (from love angel syndrome, yuri vn) or ame (from needy girl overdose, not otome). i think when i mentioned that, someone recommended takuyo games, but..... i really want more!!!!!!;-;

100% agree! My favorite types of MCs are the ones that have struggles in one way or another, I do not like perfect personalities or heroines that always act in the best way possible etc. I want more MCs that are unstable in this way!

I really want more flawed MCs in general, I want them to have personal struggles that are addressed just like the LIs, idk it's just something that I really enjoy when it happens

Would def love to see a few more sassy mcs- sorta like IkeSen's mc! I adore her- she'd got really funny internal monologues and doesn't hesitate to be cheeky with the lis
I'd also like to see mcs who are sorta unhinged and obsessively in love. For example the lis saying they'd kill for her would make her swoon. Or when the li gets super flirty, she might get a bit flustered but flirts back just as hard, instead of getting shy and asking them to stop. Sorta like the whole thing Gomez and Morticia got going on
