What Japanese dialect do you like the most?

i had forgotten onodai's role as sakamoto ryoma in hakuoki, but now that you've reminded me of it, it makes sense as to why he sounded soooo natural!!! i might not have liked his route as much, but the voice was definitely one of his best parts, 1000%. mutsu's VA (hama kento) is from kochi as well.

that's why good casting really is that important~ it adds so much to a character!!!

Dialect performances just feel so much more natural when they're done by someone who grew up speaking that dialect, so it makes you want to applaud the casting team and say, "You made the perfect choice!"

I like the Kansai dialect.
It makes me feel a sense of familiarity.

I don't know Japanese dialects very well, so I think the Kansai or Kyoto dialects are the best Mondo's Kyoto dialect is really sexy—how should I put it... I like the soft and smooth feel! And Koitsuda's Hakata dialect was great too Thanks to Aikawa, I recently heard the Okayama dialect for the first time, and I think it's really charming!!
