What is your go-to audio format and why?

I usually prefer 320 kbps mp3 especially when I rip my own CDs. I use mid-range headphones so the audio quality between a good quality mp3 and WAV aren't really noticeable for me. Anything below 320 kbps has some weird echoing and static sounds which is why I don't like some labels only allowing streaming for their CDs. It feels like I'm being ripped off when paying for a lower quality audio when I'm not able to download it at the higher quality

I prefer either WAV or FLAC for archiving reasons but mp3 for actual listening. Idk is I'm explaining myself but I feel that unless you hace a really good hi-fi reproducer you won't notice much a difference from regular mp3. Now that streaming is the norm, most audio (I'm talking in general) are not generally recorded in hi-fi bcs of the same reason so if you're just listening from a regular device (smatphone, ipod, etc) mp3 is more than enough

I opt for MP3 files at 320 kbps, as they save storage space on my phone. Besides, I can't detect any obvious flaws in sound quality when listening with Bluetooth earphones. As for collection, WAV or FLAC will be the best choice.
