What earphones/headphones do you use to enjoy otome drama CDs and otome games?

>>imonusi
I use a translation machine just like you. Thanks for replying. Even air purifiers can use voice actors' voices?! That's amazing.I thought it would be wonderful if many home appliances used the voices of voice actors. It would feel like you're living with them.
The manufacturer's concept is to transform housework time into "time spent with your favorite character." That's what they say.

The participating voice actors include 14 people: Shouta Aoi, Kaito Ishikawa, Takuya Eguchi, Megumi Ogata, Yuki Kaji, Takaya Kuroda, Junichi Suwabe, Shinya Takahashi, Shunsuke Takeuchi, Shugo Nakamura, Kotaro Nishiyama, Sho Hayami, Shun Horie, and Tomoyuki Morikawa.

I was very surprised when Yuki Kaji's voice came out of my washing machine in the advertisement (lol).

(Sorry for going on about something unrelated to the thread. I'll end it here.)

Just simple equipment would be enough. For the game I don't use special equipment just for the "voice" purpose but drama CD may have to. The currently technology is advanced that people don't have to buy expensive equipment to enjoy the voice.

By the way , I don't use anything when playing alone, but when with others, not only need to use earphones but also try to hide the screen haha. Kind of feeling nervous about people asking something like "what's this game".

wow u guys really use some fancy audio gear. I noticed how many prefer wav files and that got me curious because i cant tell the difference from a good mp3. also i never tried noise cancellation before. if you are in a quite room with only AC sound can it cancel that and make you completely isolated?

yeah! I used noise cancellation for the first time a few months back and it basically just deleted my fan/ac sounds it felt so weird to me at first haha. I forget it's running sometimes.

Im using EarPods serie 3….it's pretty good tbh but i still think ill try to get a because actual earphones but having an iPhone it may be complicated to found something that isnt apple….i tried one time to listen on my laptop but it was super annoying so for now ill keep it like that…

I usually use the sennheiser tw4. They can get a bit uncomfortable if used for too long (as in, many hours), so then I switch to the over-ear sennheiser wireless 4. I'd say their sound quality is equally great, but any "in-ear" ASMR moments do logically sound better and more realistic with the in-ear buds.

Well... I bought some wired headphones at a bookstore; they work fine, but I hope I can buy another pair lol :,v

I like Moondrop in general, now I'm using the Robin model from HSR collab with Moondrop and it's the best TWS I have ever bought.
I have another TWS too, it's official Furina TWS, the sound is good but Robin Moondrop still better.
And one wired earphone for laptop if I'm too lazy to connect bluetooth, just something I casually bought via online shopping mall.

rn I'm using Onkyo ANIMA AOW04, I bought it bc they collab with my fav joseimuke games so I can hear my fav character in command!

I also found a review from japanese fans tried from Final product called AG COTSUBU for ASMR MK2/3D tws (As for wired earphone ASMR they have Final E500,) said its recommended for drama CD eunthiasm so next time I'll buy it when my paycheck come.

I use just any cheap earphone. I tried the type that covers the whole ear, and also in-ear types they were so uncomfortable.!

I just use regular wireless earbuds, Soundcore Space A40. They have noise cancellation and excellent sound quality.

I use cheap wireless open-ear earbuds. Probably but not the best quality, but it's doable at the very least lol

I'm currently using "cotsubu," but I'm looking for better wireless earbuds that I can use while lying down.
I wonder if there are any that don't hurt even when I sleep on my side. I guess, in the end, anything will start to hurt if pressure is applied for a long time. I need to be careful about all sorts of things—pain, itching, hearing loss, and so on.

I use an Audio-Technica wired headset for my PC and Samsung Galaxy Buds for my phone.
Honestly, I might have 'tin ears' (wooden ears 🪵👂), but to me, they both sound absolutely amazing! The voice acting feels so close and clear, especially during those dummy-head mic scenes. I guess you don't always need super expensive gear to fully enjoy the immersion!

I use a HyperX headset. It's comfortable and wireless!
That means I can listen to my CDs either in bed or while drawing. :ROFLMAO:

probably the Final ZE500? those and the cotsubu seemed the smallest/supposed to be most comfortable that I've seen. How do you like the quality of sound on those? I was considering them in the future when I Have the money... For sleep, I use a sleep mask with speakers in them, quality wise not as good but I can move them out of the way so there isn't pressure on my ears at least. ^^; I also have sensitive ears and ear issues. I was considering japanese brands because I figured they might be smaller than some of the other options.

The ZE500 is even smaller than the COTSUBU! With this one, I might be able to wear it without it sticking out of my ears! The eye mask looks interesting, too.
I use the 2022 model of the COTSUBU for ASMR. Before that, I used the wired noise-canceling earbuds that came with my Walkman, and to be honest, I feel like those actually had better sound quality. Basically, wired earbuds might just offer better sound quality overall. If I'm listening to music, something else might be better.
But when I listen to ASMR on YouTube with my iPhone, I think the COTSUBU is a good fit, since it's specifically designed for ASMR.
I think they're perfect for whispers and the sounds of ear cleaning.
For situation CDs, the successor model, the "3D," might be better. One thing to watch out for is that some people have reported issues with pairing and charging. I once had trouble when it suddenly stopped pairing, and since there was no official solution, I was stuck. I managed to fix it eventually, though. Even so, compared to other products, the price is reasonable, and I think they're easy to use.
