What’s your favourite type of LI?

I like character who older than me, also has two sides is a plus point: cold & stoic in front of everyone but when with me they're playful and always pampers us

I chose tsundere because they're one of my favorites but cold & stoic is also one of my favorites along with yandere characters. I also like characters who only show their sweet side to the MC

i think the reason why so many people love cold and stoic characters is because they often have arcs that are dynamic and easy to follow. it feels like a victory when someone cold becomes warm, you know? it always does annoy me when the male lead is overly mean though…

I admire Cold & Stoic types of characters:
They are usually a bit low-key, not very sociable, and somewhat independent, but they are very persistent and have a strong sense of self-respect. They often use indifference to mask shyness, or they are naturally not good at expressing emotions and are not good with words. But they will step up in crucial moments, get their work done, and make others feel they are reliable.

通常有點低調,不太合群,有點我行我素,但很有毅力與自尊心,通常用冷漠掩飾害羞,或是天生不擅長表達情感,不善言詞.
但關鍵時刻會挺身而出,完成自己工作,令人覺得可靠.

My favorite is cold & stoic, Duke of The North type of LI. I think the gap between his personality before he open up his heart and after he love MC is very enchanting. Put some character growth and detailed background are perfect.

I love how you added a pervy one in the poll I love the dominant & possessive types, but tbh any love interest that has an intense yearning/is pining hopelessly after the MC is my cup of tea. If we get to see just how deeply the love interest has fallen for the MC, how much they live rent-free in their mind, then it's just *chef's kiss* for me.

It's tsundere all the way, right? The only sad thing is the old "baka!"-style tsundere has gone out of fashion.

devoted and expressive, for sure. i like LIs who aren't afraid to show how much they care. tell the MC you love them, be affectionate, make them feel wanted.
i'm a sucker for characters who are all in once they fall. i don't really enjoy trying to decipher whether an LI likes the MC or not. just give me someone who's honest with their feelings and completely devoted.

I'd say the ones I like best are the dominant and possessive type, but I really value "green flags"—and usually, the two don't go together, which is where my dilemma with otome games comes in.
Still, overall, I'd say any love interest who isn't a total jerk stands a chance ^-^
The most important thing is that they treat the protagonist properly.

I'm really into the type who loves deeply, all the way down to the soul.

But if we're talking purely about appearance and vibe, I'm drawn to men who are seductive, absolutely dripping with 色気, and have that playboy-ish aura, but are actually the type who genuinely love someone wholeheartedly once they fall for them.

Yosuga from Olympia Soirée or Jinguji Ren from Uta no Prince-sama are good examples.

Unfortunately, this type is ridiculously rare.

The type that doesn't appeal to me at all is the cheerful, openly affectionate, shounen-protagonist type. And somehow, that archetype seems to show up in almost every game.

Innocent! I love seeing them get all flustered and blush around the MC, it's just too cute.

Tsundere would probably be my second choice, but I need a good balance between the tsun and the dere. If they're too tsun and barely show their softer side, I get bored pretty quickly.

From the poll I have to go with cold and stoic, I prefer my characters to have more mature personalities.
Outside of the poll, however, I adore the tired and overworked type, especially when the dynamic with the other characters is that they hold the only braincell in the group. I find it both hilarious and attractive, with how competent they are.

I like the love interests who you just know will always be there for the heroine no matter what. I also tend to like my love interests a bit more mature.

I like characters who are innocent and cute.

If that character is actually carrying something heavy inside, or if their cheerful personality comes from having overcome something and wanting to be considerate of others, then I can't help but want to support them.

I also prefer characters who show that they care about me and express their affection in an easy-to-understand way!

Tsundere characters will always have my heart !! I love when a character has a vulnerable side; it makes the character feel much deeper.
my second choice would have to be the childhood best friends trope. I get so attached to these kinds of characters that I feel bad about playing the routes of the other LIs </3

My all time favourite is definitely tsundere, but recently I am more into stoic men, I just find them really attractive and reliable.

I love men who are always calm, composed, and seemingly cold. At first, they have absolutely no interest in the heroine and keep their distance, but as they grow closer, they slowly start showing her sides of themselves that no one else gets to see…

That whole process completely wrecks me every time

And when he finally admits to himself that he's in love with her… that moment is absolutely EVERYTHING

Childhood friends and siscons… Basically, characters who are possessive in one way or another and have a long, established relationship with the heroine. Even better if they're tsundere on top of that lol

The kind of person who appears extremely polite and gentle on the surface, but has a heavily guarded heart inside , yet once you manage to break through and make them open up to you, they would do absolutely anything for you, even though they might actually turn out to be a villain? Or perhaps I prefer the yandere type , although their possessiveness is quite intense, they also give you a very strong sense of security
or maybe they themselves are the real danger?
I guess this falls under the category of "redemption," doesn't it?
