Hey, really liking the update so far, nice work!

I had a couple of questions about the new ranks/titles though.

I noticed the new Otome-related ones like "乙女", "上級乙女" and "極乙女". Since I mostly hang around the Otome section, I was wondering: what do they actually mean, what's the difference between them, and how could I get any of them?

Also, I just noticed I now have the "Elite" title. What does that one do exactly?

Btw, a couple of small UI suggestions/issues I noticed:

1. Dark Mode (New tag)
When a thread is new (or has new replies), the "New" tag is really hard to see now since it blends into the dark background. In the old version it was blue and super easy to spot. Would it be possible to tweak that a bit so it stands out more again?

2. Thread previews across sections
I also wanted to mention something similar to what selinee said about previews.

Right now, in "Downloads and Requests", you can see previews from multiple subforums at once, including sections that can be quite explicit. This makes browsing a bit awkward sometimes, especially when you're just trying to check something specific (like Otome content).

Maybe having an option to disable previews (or limit them to the current section) would help keep things cleaner.

3. Reply box/preview/scrolling issue
When writing a longer reply, the text box ends up taking most (or all) of the screen, both on PC and mobile.

Also, instead of scrolling within the text you're writing, it scrolls the whole thread, which makes it a bit hard to review or edit what you've already written. It also seems to happen when using the Preview function as well, so it might be related.

Hello! I noticed I can't hide my files when I upload them under the reply/react feature anymore. Is this due to me being a low level? Or if not what option is this for me? Thank you! :)

also i think from the mobile version the reply system is buggy i guess? when i click "reply" button it's instantly throw back to the very first post thread, seems i need to open new tab for replying?

also maybe needs to tweak option whether user want the preview from every DL sub-section version or not.

Despite some suggestion, i am grateful for this ASF new version. Thanks a lot for every staff that's been involved and hard working to make this happen. i appreciate it.

It's working perfectly on the mobile version, it looks really cool. Now that I've noticed it makes a sound when it receives notifications, I found it kinda cute

As a poster things I have noticed:

1. I share concerns about the random preview images in the page when just trying to scroll down to selected forum
2. Loading pages takes a little longer now, unsure if on server side or my own: Trying to get to notifications, open a new page.
3. Mod thread approvals take a lot longer to process for manual approvals.
4. Selecting a thread thumbnail does not automatically populate with the thread post images and upon trying to upload an image it requires the X-Y ratio to be something like 1:2 which limits the options.
5. Sidebar does not scroll correctly.

There was a bug in the configuration, also I'm tuning it slowly. It would improve now after the most recent maintenance today.

I do not understand this explanation at all, need elaboration

2. Normally when you create a thread and post an image in that thread, that image becomes the main thumbnail that is displayed on the forum, however if it didnt you could always go back and change the thumbnail from the selected images.

I've been wondering, since the major update, what the difference is between Distinguished Member, Elite Member, and Recognized Member. Are some of these manually assigned by mods?
Do they come with additional or specific permissions outside of the otome section and signatures?

Mostly upload permissions, generous private message capacity, you can also pin profile post, regular member cannot do this.

Very rarely

Yes, but it's mostly seamless, unless you go back being a member, then sometimes there are some inconveniences necessary to protect everyone from spamming.

I also have similar problem. But for me, there is no button for changing thumbnail like in the previous version

For mod, I forgot the entire permission class completely. It will be patched by the next maintenance period (within 12 hours)

Was the "similar threads" feature on the bottom removed on purpose? If it's an overhead thing then I understand, but it's disappointing, I found it useful!

I appreciate the new look. I think it works well, though one minor issue I noticed is on certain threads — perhaps uploaded content threads, there is no longer 5 related threads at the bottom of the page. I also am confused how the new ranks work at all? I lost Elite and another title I had before, and now I have Recognized. I am not mad about it or anything, just confused.

You may need to actually post more outside of requests and in the otome section itself (like the community section).

Ah, I asked Checkmate about it and they said I'm supposed to have the Otome tag already, so maybe it's just a small bug or something still being adjusted

I don't really post in the Corner discussions since I focus more on the sharing, reuploads, and requests side, but Checkmate already mentioned I should have the tag automatically and that they'd look into the discrepancy.

With the new update there are still a few bugs to iron out, so maybe it's just a technical glitch on the site's end that needs a manual fix whenever they have a chance since they are probably busy!
