Question Unable to post any links in profile posts...

...And Im sick of it. I effectively can't ask for re-uploads, because half the time, The "Write something" text field doesn't act like a text field and doesn't allow me to type in anything, the other half I can type but get hit with a "character limit" even though my post looks exactly like any other post. If I don't try to post a link, but just post the entire name, it works just fine. What is going on???

Oh, so you shorten it using the LAST number? I tried, but only with the number that comes right after "/threads" and that always linked to something different, so I thought it wasn't possible:/

Profile post are limited to 420 characters, but I see that sometimes thread name are too long, I'll figure it out to shorten it automatically for all users

Hey, @Shine & @Checkmate , just a heads-up. I don't think this trick entirely works as intended. I tried to limit my recent reupload requests post to one message (two links). Shortened, there were not more than 125-130 characters and it still would not go through. It must have still been shadow counting the original full links (or something?) for the site to believe I was anywhere near 420 characters. A bit odd and frustrating, but no big deal. I worked around it. Just sharing my experience. Thank you!

Because you have less than X posts, people who has less than a certain amount of posts in this forum are treated no better than a suspicious spammer, and especially stingy when it comes to posting links... even more damming if it's going elsewhere.

Oh, well... I guess that makes sense. Hopefully, it'll improve soon. I'm trying, but it's been an uphill battle.
