Thoughts on shota/youger li?

Of course, it's a matter of personal preference, but I don't really prefer it. I don't see him as a man, but rather as a younger brother.

Well, it looks weird and gives me a guilty feeling, maybe because I have a younger brother or sister, unless that's just his character trait and dont have a kid body 😿 (not face)

When it's "kouhai" and a year or two younger than mc, than it's, in most cases, ok. If gap is too big - than it's le ew and not for me.

Shouta characters are... not for me whatsoever, they make me really uncomftable. I am able to handle it if the LI is an adult and just like a few years younger, but, as an older sister, I tend to see anyone younger than me as a baby, so I end up adopting them 😄, the trope of puppy love is quite cute, tho.

Lol! Well, no crime in fiction at least. xD

I would *never* be even a little interested in underage people IRL (I don't like kids, period, in general lmao) but have had crushes on underage characters plenty, not like they ever act/talk like their age to begin with and 2D isn't at all similar to RL visually lol. so it's pretty easy for me to not relate things in otome to real life.

"Kid-like" characters are not really my type (like Honey from Ouran High School Host Club). If he looks and/or acts like a kid I'm not into that. Actual kids are also no-no.

A younger guy is fine in a game but too large age gaps do ick me a little bit.
 
I LOVE SHOTA CHARA, but unfortunately i don't like romancing them, i love that they exist, i love seeing them and i like seeing them get pampered, i just don't want to pamper them myself lmao

Their cuteness is really refreshing ngl but i hate shotas who acts like genuine KIDS idk it bothers me sometimes…but a cute character design can be good to see here and there!! Oh and…NO REAL KIDS BEGGING..
 
I'm used to love both Shota or younger LI in DramaCD or otomeGame but as I'm become adult I don't like Shota that much anymore, as for younger LI I still love this type so muchhh
 
I used to avoid younger LIs almost completely, but the more i'm growing up, the more I've started appreciating them ? lol ° As long as they're actual adults and don't look or act like kids, I can definitely enjoy their routes i guess ~ (that being said, I still prefer older, mature LIs by a mile (/ω＼)

I don't mind. The younger-type LIs are, in most cases, characters I like, but they're not necessarily my favorites. Tokisada is okay for me. Mathis, Kikunosuke, and Orlok are examples of that younger type. I don't feel uncomfortable because they're well written. As for the shota type, I haven't played many games with them, but I don't mind that much either. It depends on the focus, how the relationship is handled, and everything around it. Most of the time, I just think they're cute.

Now, if they're like un:logical's side characters with a young appearance, I don't have a problem either. Fiction is fiction, but I understand why some people find them uncomfortable. I used to feel that way about people who liked loli characters. Then I questioned myself, and now I think it all depends on the focus, whether they're well written, and whether their young appearance is used appropriately,
 
i only like younger LIs if they are at least 18, but i dont really care if they are younger than that when the MC is around the same age as well. I dont have a problem with others liking lolisho, but that does personally make me uncomfortable TT

I am not really a fan. I dont have a Problem with it if it is only a little bit, but if they act or look too childlike, i have VERY big troubles feeling attracted to them. I can like them, but not in that way. If it's too much, the romantic scenes can also feel very uncomfortable...

These characters generally act like kids because they are kids and that makes me very uncomfortable as an adult woman. Realistically speaking, just no.

I absolutely hate that characters look like a child. It is incredibly disturbing and completely unacceptable for an adult (+18) things ಠ_ಠ
