The most attractive sport for otome games

Judo and karate🤤
With you there ✋😌

I love this webtoon called "The Gentle Way," which is a judo-obsessed FL and a former competitive judo player ML. It's sooo feel-good.

In addition to baseball, I really wanna learn more about judo. THE FORMS LOOK SOOOOOO GOOD.

Of course, I also can't forget karate (because my family had my siblings take it before). Controlled movements, the cool uniform, the swift chops?! SO COOL. YES TO KARATE OTOME!

Ice skating would be great! It could make for such a gorgeous and visually stunning game! For team sports, we already have games about baseball and tennis, so I'd go with volleyball. A sports-themed otome game would also be nice because it could have a modern-day setting without any fantasy elements mixed in.

The sport in Prince of Stride was completely original to the game, but the game itself was pretty fun!

I think boxing or pugilisim could prove to be an interesting premise, if you ignore all the real life consequences. There's something atractive about someone who can throw a proper punch.

Your motivations are noted mm mm 🙂↕️ I WANT THEM TOO. For the volleyball lovers, I'm sure there are Haikyuu fan games out there (one on itch.io actually)!

As for basketball, I doubt it will be localized (even though I really really want them to), but Otomate is doing another collab with a sports team! The game is called Mix Dunk, and it looks so GOOD.

I agree on the attractiveness in someone who can deliver a punch swiftly but with a really controlled attitude (not too aggro). An otome like that could have a setting that's either professional, or if we're thinking more gritty, really backdoor and lowkey fighting rings.

The protagonist could be investigating, involved in that community in someway, or find herself witnessing a match after a series of unprecedented encounters.

The only one I found so far online was a rhythm game on the DS called Princess Debut. It's a rhythm game where MC gets isekai'ed into a fantasy world where she dances with princes. You can pick different music and dance styles, which is SO CUTE.

On the note of an LI who can do ballet--YES, AGREE!!! Just imagining the music choices and the CGs for a game with this is making me weepy.
omg this is one of my favourite girly games. It's so good!!
I love the transformation sequences for all the accessories.
There's even a secret route
where if you don't have a partner for the dance, your instructor transforms from a rabbit into a human prince lol.

Imagine: Figure Skater on the DS is a game I really love, and it has dating sim elements!

Idk if this is really considered per se, but I would love a game about karuta!!
Chihayafuru is one of my favourite anime/manga so it would be really cool to see an otome game about karuta. Or even a Chihayafuru game adaptation.
The closest I've gotten is the karuta minigame in Yakuza Kenzan lol.

Omg, I love that idea. That sounds like an interesting premise with a chance to have a lot of drama.

I didn't know there was a figure skating game! And the protagonist is so sparkly and pretty—I love it! It's nice that they feel like they're going to be at the center of the story rather than just in the background.

I'll say judo, just thinking about how in TMGS3 my favorite character (Niina) can join the judo club by the insistence of another LI. I actually though it didn't fit him that well but he's cute no matter what. Anyways, while the MC does not participate (she's just the "manager") if there was a game where the MC could actually fight the guys then that would be great for creating chemistry 🤤

Someone already mentioned swimming, but I'd love a swimming otome too! I think the competitive side could be really interesting... and I'm definitely not complaining about the swimmers physiques either. 😂
