Your motivations are noted mm mm 🙂‍↕️ I WANT THEM TOO. For the volleyball lovers, I'm sure there are Haikyuu fan games out there (one on itch.io actually)!

As for basketball, I doubt it will be localized (even though I really really want them to), but Otomate is doing another collab with a sports team! The game is called Mix Dunk, and it looks so GOOD.

This would be so wonderful! And quite likely IMO since Japan is known in the figure skating world. Actually, I'm happy to announce there is a game for this on Google Play called Love Ice Rink.

I haven't checked it yet because I'm not sure if it's localized, and I don't want to hope once I find that I actually want to download--SOBS.

Another person for archery, YAYY! I can't recall right now any historical otomes with archers (because historicals hurt me the most), but it's definitely a cool one in my book. The form they take is just perfection.

YESSSS ON MARTIAL ARTS!! ESPECIALLY JUDO. Aside from baseball, I've been very interested in judo lately. My favorite webtoon has FL and ML in that scene, so it's a real point of intrigue for me.

On the Sengoku otomes, same BAHAHAHA. THEY ARE SO HARD TO PLAY BECAUSE YOU GET ATTACHED AND SOMEONE DIES. Can't a person just enjoy the passion of swoony pseudo-historical figures and martial prowess without all the blood and suffering 😔

As for car racing, it's not a car-racing otome, but we do have racer Xiao Yi (Osborn) from Light & Night huehue

It's okay! I totally understand. I think it's the usual progression of: you start with a bang, you play multiple chapters --> hit a roadblock because you need to level up --> interruptions in story gameplay generates disconnect.

That's actually why in Light & Night, I've been levelling up my bonds like crazy and not actually playing the story yet 🫣

I fell in love with baseball last year, so I'm really looking forward to seeing baseball games. Tennis or volleyball would also be great—competitive games where you compete and prove your skills.

Baseball games offer exciting and thrilling matchups between pitchers and batters, even showcasing the fielders' five-star fielding skills. You might expect a hit or home run, only to have the player jump up and catch it for an out. Just imagining the characters' expressions, their fighting spirit, their high-spirited performances, and the pitcher's sure-fire strikeout is as captivating as watching The Prince of Tennis.

As was stated earlier, Swimming and archery would be most interesting types.
And I would really like to see volleyball setting. I am volleyball player and used to seeing men playing it. But I would really like to see MC and LI getting together there. Maybe she could be manager or volleyball player too. I just want to see how it would be played out

One more in the dancing team 🤚
Would be lovely if every LI had a different style/music genre, specially if it influenced their designs. And if the mc had experience with dancing and them could dance together would be soo cool too 🥺

I'm a basketball fan and watch a lot of basketball so that gets my vote. I know about Mix Dunk and I'm really interested to see how it does. I hope it does well enough that we'll get a localization for it, but I'm pretty sure the chances are almost zero so I'm not getting my hopes up :cry:

Another sport I also enjoy watching is soccer/football so I would also love to see an otome game for that. Both sports involve a lot teamwork and communicating with one another so I think an otome game focused on them would be fun and cool. Having a LI (or more hehe) from a rival school would also be nice :wink:

I'd love to play an otome game that features volleyball! The uniforms are so cool, and I think the players look really awesome when they're serving or going for a spike.

I also really enjoy watching actual volleyball matches, so I'd love to see those exciting moments in an otome game too!

I love baseball so much because of my favorite manga--Yugami-kun ni wa Tomodachi ga Inai if you're interested--and if you guys know any tips on how to get started for a complete newbie to understand the rules, I'd love to know them! 😭

I really really want more baseball otome SIGHHH

The CGs and the music for each route would be AMAZING. And having leitmotifs and different expressions of symbolism for each LI would be mindblowing

I love that manga too! In my country, baseball is not played at a level that has a large audience, the anime Diamond no Ace made me understand on a technical level how the entire system and its rules work. It has a lot of seasons with a realistic approach, from there I reviewed some rules that I did not understand by searching on google lol If I hadn't had that base at the time, it would have been more difficult for me to understand it

Using something of my interest to understand something is the easiest way to learn, there are other animes that I need to watch, and others that don't explain much and go straight to the games

Wahhh, a volleyball player! Can I just say that it is so freaking cool to watch the sport? You guys balance power and agility so well 😭😭 It's why I'm similarly curious to a plot like the one you're talking about for an otome. It would generate so much swooning

We share the same localization dispair... My9Swallows didn't get any, but I'm REALLY REALLY PRAYING MIX DUNK PULLS THROUGH FOR US.

Agree on the football. I REALLY LIKE THEIR UNIFORMS
