Super Dimension Fortress MACROSS remake

Hey everyone!
I just had a thought that maybe has been addressed here before so please excuse me if it has! Given the recent remakes of old anime series & their seeming popularity, esp. Yamato 2199, has anyone heard of or know about a possible remake of the original MACROSS series? Similar in style to the way Yamato 2199 was? Just curious & hopeful!

Not unlikely... Tatsunoko Productions where used tomake the Macross Series i think haven't announced nothing they will do only some special with the excisting material nothing new...
